We had a great stay at Casa Arenas in February 2026! It was spacious, quiet, close to the beach and a short drive away from restaurants and cafes. We got there late at night on arrival so it was pitch black outside; we woke up to very beautiful grounds. Natalia was a very responsive and helpful host - I was in communication with her throughout our stay. The house is in Utiva which I didn’t realize was an hour away from Manuel Antonio where we had booked a couple excursions. We ended up canceling our zip line activity and finding a closer one as it didn’t make sense to travel an hour for it. The amenities provided were perfect for our family, she provided two playpens for us and there was also kids’ tableware. The washing machine was difficult to figure out the first time so the groundskeeper came and explained it to me. After that it was easy. I would recommend providing printed instructions to tape to the washing machine for future guests.
