Ocean Front Oasis with pool access~ Salty Sanctuary

Salty Sanctuary is one of Folly's Best! This 4 bedroom, 3 bath condo is located directly on the beach and can accommodate up to 8 people! It has a well-equipped kitchen and spacious living room with an attached private balcony. The master bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. You can enjoy the ocean with unobstructed views and balcony access at your bedside! The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, cable TV, and en-suite bathroom as well. The third and fourth bedrooms provide a king and queen bed, and share an attached jack-n-jill bathroom with a shower. Private parking for 2 vehicles are included with this rental as well as a full-size washer and dryer. As an added bonus, there are also two pools on-site (open April - Oct) at this complex, a rare commodity for Folly!

An elevator is available for this complex. While we manage this property, we do not manage the maintenance of this building, which includes the elevator. The presence of an elevator does not indicate that the home is ADA compliant. This regime does not allow vehicles other than cars on the premises, this includes golf carts, trailers, motorcycles etc.

This place was wonderful! I visited with my 2 kids and parents. Plenty of space and very clean. The beach access was great and we enjoyed the pool and beautiful view from our large balcony. The proximity to lots of restaurants and bars put this one over the top! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful oceanfront view, large balcony, great for our elderly parents and adult children. Kitchen had everything we needed, property was clean. Wonderful having carts and an elevator to use while unpacking and packing car. Host may want to consider upgrading some of the mattresses. We had a great stay.

Our stay was fantastic! Six old friends catching up for a long girls weekend. The rooms were clean and beautifully maintained. The AC was a blessing with the weather. And the view is incredible! Not to mention the short walk to Center Street. The hosts were lovely and always responded to my many questions (sorry) immediately. I can’t wait to stay here again! An absolute dream home! Beautiful property with great views, convenient to Center St, pier and Bert's! Comfortable for the 7 adults in Living Area all together and bedrooms and baths accomodated perfectly. The AC wasn't working when we arrived but fortunately had a previous HVAC company owner with us that got it started after specking with property manager and they sent someone to fix it ASAP while we were at dinner. The directions for the gate (CODE) never worked for us which was kind of annoying when we all had to share one fob to go anywhere in car. My check in/checkout instructions, door code, gate code, wifi password seemed to all come in different emails from different senders so I was disappointed I could not access EVERYTHING in one place through my app on my trip. Absolutely LOVED my time there and would definitely go back!

Code for the gate needs to be communicated before arrival. When we arrived we couldn't get in the gate to park. Someone else staying there had to open the gate for us.

This condo was everything we wanted! We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived—it truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again.The beach access is right beside the pool entrance, and both are very close to the condo, making trips to the beach incredibly convenient. The oversized balcony was also a wonderful feature—spacious, comfortable, and a great place to relax.When you arrive, shopping carts near the elevator are available to help unload your vehicle. We discovered them after our first trip, so grab one before unloading! The condo is on the first floor, conveniently located across from the elevator. The directional sign was a little misleading at first, but once we found the condo, the location was great.A few minor things to note: There was no can opener, so bring one if needed. The living room sliding door was extremely difficult to open and close, although the master bedroom slider worked perfectly. The living room door appears to need a roller/wheel replacement, as we noticed metal shavings.Our only other challenge was having just one key fob, which is required for beach and pool access. A second fob would make it easier for families to split up.Overall, these were minor inconveniences compared with everything we enjoyed. The condo was CLEAN, comfortable, conveniently located, and truly felt like home. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Great Choice

We were debating whether to stay in Charleston or at the beach. We are all glad we chose this property. This property has excellent ocean views and beach access. It is also within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and bars. It was also very easy to drive into Charleston when we wanted. The unit was clean and the host provided most everything we needed for our stay.

Great condo in a super location

We really enjoyed the Salty Sanctuary; very nice condo, appropriately appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, big showers. We hadn't been to Folly Beach before but really loved it, great waves (very popular surfing spot), so boogie boarding was awesome. Super close to all of the restaurants and the pier, so you could walk everywhere. The only drawback is the current renovations made one of the two elevators inoperable, so getting the elevator could sometimes take too long (we were given a heads up about this though, so we knew what we were in for). Other than that, great stay and we'd definitely do it again.
