We are a couple who reside in New York City and have spent the past twenty years vacationing in the area with our four children.
Owner purchased this Condo in 2004
Why Owner chose Bigfork
There are so many activities we enjoy in the area that we wanted to be able to enjoy coming to Bigfork at other times during the year. We enjoy flyfishing, skiing and horseback riding and the quality of life that Bigfork has to offer. We love the weather during the summer and the winters are remarkably mild with an abundance of snow.
What makes this Condo unique
Being so close to the restaurants and galleries and being able to walk everywhere in town while enjoying the river is wonderful. The river view is constantly changing as the flow of the river rises and falls with the seasons.

Quiet & picturesque
We found the unit to be very spacious and comfortable. The location on the river offered views and traquility from the livingroom, lofted bedroom, and deck. Was chilly with snow on the forest floor so was nice to look out while cozy in front of the fireplace. Great coffee shop across the parking lot and Pocketstone cafe was only a block away for breakfast and lunch. Also, good sushi place within a stone’s throw. Beds were comfortable. Both have their own bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped. Could accommodate many visitors as great room is very big and open. Thanks for sharing your special place!
Great location. Beautifull setting with everything you need!
Great location. Beautiful, relaxing, comfortable condo, with everything you need! As usual Linda has thought of every little detail. We had a great weekend.
What a lovely spot! We had not been to Bigfork in 15 years and having lived there for 20 years, had a long list of people we wanted to connect with. Our thought was to have a spot where people could come visit us there. My wife is in a wheelchair and we chose this spot because it was advertised as wheelchair accessible. We were disappointed that, although there was an elevator to the property, there were no grab bars in the downstairs bathroom for toilet or shower or space to maneuver. The living areas & kitchen had heavy, closely arranged furniture. However, we come prepared with our own equipment to make it more manageable so with rearranging furnitue, were able to make adjustments. The bed, bath & sitting area upstairs were excellent to provide a wonderful area for visiting family & friends that came from farther away. The setting was absolutely beautiful and the closeness to downtown was perfect; we loved it!
The property owner was very gracious & prompt to answer questions. It was so quiet; we thought we were all by ourselves. If you want to be in the center of Bigfork & yet feel like you’ve escaped to a secluded spot, this is the place for you!
So glad you enjoyed your stay in Bigfork. In your correspondence you asked me about the width of the doorways and hallways and I gave you the dimensions which are compliant. There was no mention of the bathroom so I am sorry not to have clarified about grab bars. I did point out that I had never had anyone with a power chair, only canes and crutches. Sounds like we should have talked more beforehand! Having said all that, I'm glad you were able to enjoy everything else.
Lovely, Tranquil and Convenient to Everything!
I brought a gal pal with me who had never been to the Northwest, so she was pretty excited to see the mountains. Unfortunately, everything was shrouded in smoke due to the fires, and I thought for sure our little vacay would be ruined. Then we arrived at Linda's place, and even though everything outside was smoky, when I opened the door to this beautiful condo, I knew we'd be fine. Number one, it was very clean and fresh smelling. Gorgeous and welcoming upscale furniture and and wonderful kitchen. Then, I opened the door to the spacious balcony, and WOW! A big wide river races and crashes over boulders with a backdrop of big pines in the most lovely way. I knew Linda's place was "on a river" but I didn't realize how amazing it was until I saw it. The balcony had a great table with umbrella to shield from the morning sun, and we spent a lot of time out there, just enjoying the sound of the river and breeze.
As far as the location goes, it was perfect. This condo is right downtown in Bigfork, and shops, restaurants and walking paths were literally, steps away. Most happily, after a day and half, the wind shifted, the skies cleared, and we enjoyed the breathtaking views we had come for. Thank you, Linda! I'm so glad I stayed that extra day, and I hope to stay at your beautiful place again! again!
Exceeded expectations! Felt like a spoiled guest in a beautiful home.
A wonderful experience! Linda was very prompt to respond to a few questions we had about the condo. This condo is in an amazing location. The sound of the Swan River is the first thing that grabs your attention when you walk through the door. The condo is beautifully furnished and decorated. You truly feel like a guest in someone's home, not a rental unit. The kitchen has everything you could want and more! Every detail is thoughtfully provided including personal care products in the bathrooms, and all cleaning supplies. I personally appreciated the "green" and health friendly products provided. The first morning at the condo we had a problem with one of the toilets. As per instructions from owner, we contacted the maintenance person. He was very nice to work with and responded right away to our request for help. The problem was fixed within an hour. The large deck overlooking the "wild mile" of the river was the area we enjoyed the most! So relaxing. Parking was easy and convenient. Access to the downtown area of Bigfork's shops and restaurants is about a two minute stroll from the condo. The only thing that could be considered a negative has been mentioned by a few other reviews. There is noise that comes from a bar and restaurant across the road from the condo that is very noticeable in the main level bedroom at night. Other than that, this condo certainly deserves the 5 Stars! I look forward to returning to this condo for many more wonderful times in Bigfork!
Very clean and beautifully decorated. The property had everything we needed for our stay and you absolutely can't beat this location for a stay in Bigfork!
There are so many things to do in the Flathead Valley, both in Winter and in the summer. Glacier park is a 45 minute drive and a must-see activity in the summer. For some excellent (local) hiking, try Jewel Basin. The views are phenomenal and there are many different hikes to try. There is all sorts of fishing: Flathead Lake and also down the Swan River and the Flathead River. There are many good guides in the area and we would be happy to provide some names. In August, the rodeo is a great activity for the whole family. The whole town is decorated for the Christmas Season, making the town one of the prettiest in the area. The valley is known for all the good restaurants and micro-breweries so it is well worth giving those a try!
