One of my favorite spots on Earth. Host is responsive and accommodating. The house is well-equipped, roomy, comfortable, and clean, but the view, accompanied by the music of East Rosebud Creek, is what it’s all about.

Amazing!

From the second that we booked online, the host was in touch with us. Answered so many questions and always replied quickly. The place is 20 miles from Red Lodge, and pretty remote which is exactly what we were looking for. By that the BEST experience we’ve had with VRBO. Highly recommend!

Love staying here, highly recommended

We have been coming here for years. Love sitting out on the deck at breakfast looking at the mountains and watching the deer going back and forth across the field, great location near hiking , fishing, dining at the Grizzly Bar, close to Red Lodge. Clean, comfortable accommodations, Erica is a great host. IMO there is no better place to stay in the East Rosebud area

Heaven

Just a great place to relax and forget about the world's problems. Spent 10 days doing just that and fishing the East and West Rosebud rivers as well as the Yellowstone and Stillwater. The views from the living room and dining room are just fabulous and the home comes complete with just about everything you need for a great vacation. Our only disappointment, if you can call it that, was not being able to fish East Rosebud Lake at Alpine. Beautiful drive up there though!

Comfortable, clean, spacious, sit out on the deck and enjoy great views of mountains and wildlife, location is perfect for hiking and fishing, or even if you just like relaxing in the mountains, cannot recommend enough for anyone who wants to have a great stay in this spectacular corner of Montana.

Wonderful!

It was everything and more of what we expected. We didn’t turn the tv on once, we had all the entertainment we needed outside our windows. The only downside was, 3 days was not long enough. Clean, comfortable, 5 star bathroom towels, well stocked kitchen and I could go on and on. Would love to visit again!

Perfect for what we wanted

While the house could be considered a bit outdated (it still has every amenity you could hope for) , it is exactly what we wanted. It’s in an absolutely perfect location and the price for what you get cannot be beat. Everything works great and we didn’t need anything fancy. Actually, we were avoiding fancy. This place was perfect, the kind of house I’d buy. We paid extra to bring our dogs, and I really appreciated that option. The owner put reasonable stipulations on bringing our dogs such as not allowing them on the furniture, controlling them as to not chase the wildlife and we complied. We kenneled them at night in the garage and kept them close during the day using shock collars to ensure their compliance. The neighbors complained that our dogs weren’t leashed which wasn’t a stipulation. We got it worked out though and it was done with tact by the owner. Communication was great and I’d go back in a heart beat.

Rustic cabin retreat

The views are spectacular. House was clean and tidy. Not updated but adequate. Beds were comfortable. The fans provided helped but unseasonably high temps made house warm. AC would be great.
