Cozy Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We were a party of 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids) and the cabin truly was everything we wanted and more. Mitch and Bobby made sure that we had everything we needed - they had a jar of everything we needed for s’mores and the kids really loved that. A basket of sunblock, and insect repellant was right at the door. Plenty of pots and pans in the kitchen. But the best part was the location —the big creek is right by the house, with paths and concrete steps to get to it and a little creek that joins it on the side - the kids and dogs were happy exploring. Plenty of firewood made hanging out by the fire pit easy and the hosts had the pit nicely set up for us -all ready for our first fire. My 8yo loved the little basket of books in our bedroom. WiFi is not strong but we all realized that might have been a blessing in disguise ;) will be back!

Great place, Great host, completely satisfied...

  • 5 of 5

We booked this place for our visit to Mcafee Knob. It was around 45 minutes travel from the cabin. We enjoyed the mcafee knob hiking. However by the end of trip, we are cherishing the time we spent in the cabin more than hiking🤷🏻‍♂️😊...

Those two days, we felt like we were the only people in the world...😊

Will surely visit again., no doubt in that.

Amazing view.

  • 5 of 5

Could not have picked a better place to stay. Cabin was clean and had everything you could possibly need. The view overlooking the creek from the sleeping porch was amazing. Great location too. Many hiking and outdoors adventures right in the area and close to attractions in Natural Bridge and Lexington. Canoes and kayaks are provided. You can easily spend a day just relaxing at the cabin. Cannot wait to return in the future.

Great Family Vacation Spot!

  • 5 of 5

Loved the canoeing and fishing at this cottage, also lots of great open space and perfect fire pit for the evening. Owners were very gracious and accommodating. Even when it rained all day one day, we had a ball sitting on the screened in porch and playing board games. Great place for family time!
