Home away from home... with a view!!!

The condo is located on Pleasure Island with gorgeous views of Pleasure Island Marina and Sabine Lake from the newly constructed balcony. The condo complex has a pool and outdoor grilling patio with fireplace. There are plenty of chairs to sit back and relax after a long day with a beverage of your choice. Sunrises, sunsets, and seabirds are plentiful. The island has numerous locations to fish, a disc golf course, and walking trails as well.

Perfect Rental

Everything promised in the listing was accurate. The place was clean, location was nice, pool and outdoor kitchen was just as pictured and the owners were very accommodating. I had a work assignment for 2 months in the area and it was perfect for me. I'd definitely try to book it again if I was in the area.

Excellent for work stay

I stayed at this property for about a month as I working at a nearby facility for a maintenance turnaround. The property was very quiet at night, and everything worked as expected. Staying on Pleasure Island helped me avoid 30min of traffic every day on the MLK bridge / Port Arthur! Well worth it.The owners did a good job stocking the condo with cookware. Internet and A/C all worked fine.I'd gladly sign up for this place again next time I need one in the area.Laundry was coin-op, but the machines all worked and seemed to be maintained.

Relaxing

The property was as described and very comfortable. You can relax out by the water or on the balcony. Friendly neighbors. I had no need to contact owner, but they gave me a direct number to contact them if I had any questions or issues. Very enjoyable place.

Extended Stay for Job Assignment

This condo was perfect for me for my extended stay work assignment. I have been here 5 1/2 weeks. The view is exactly as pictured and all the rooms are as pictured. The outdoor kitchen was nice and big and the pool was very nice. I didn't use the workout room, but there is one there with the basic equipment. There is a laundry room downstairs -- I never had an issue getting a washer/dryer and the cost was $1.00 a load per machine. All the appliances worked and it was very clean. The owner answered any questions/issues I had very quickly. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Port Arthur/Orange area for work or anyone that needs a nice spot to relax for a weekend.
