Hi Karen, We are really sorry for the inconveniences you may have experienced. The front door just needed to be lifted up a little to open it, as I described, but we have since fixed the issue with the door. The air conditioning was clearly working. The controller, as you described—the Nest—needed to be charged, and you helped us charge it because we didn’t know the battery was low. I sincerely struggle to see how that then means you “had to do HVAC repair at a VRBO.” You didn’t. The plates in the dishwasher were obviously clean and had been washed for your use. Again, we struggle to see how that was an “inconvenience.” We don’t put all the towels and washcloths out for obvious reasons, but as you said, they were easily accessible in the upstairs closet. Also, all the lights work; you probably just didn’t know where to turn them on. The water also gets both hot and cold, and we have never received a complaint about this. Past guests would have mentioned it if this were an ongoing issue. Overall, thank you for your stay. We gave you a five-star review.
