This property is a fantastic place if you have a big group and want to gather outside. The yard was so big and well supplied with seating, cooking implements and entertainment (we especially had fun with the "ax throwing" dart board). I liked how the separate apartment even has its own patio with seating and a TV. Kitchen was VERY well stocked with cooking seasonings and essentials (coffee, teas, cooking oil, tin foil, that sort of thing). Cooking pans and knives were in good shape. Hot tub was very clean and we made good use of it. It was nice to be able to park within the fence on the property but street parking wasn't too difficult. Hosts provided adequate directions to things in the house. Freeway access was easy, but the house was extremely well insulated for sound so even though the freeway is close by, we couldn't hear it at all. Internet connectivity and AT&T cell service was a bit slow depending on where you are on the property, however the internet connection was still good enough for remote work. The neighborhood itself does look a bit rough, but I checked on the San Diego crime map and it's actually fine. If you have guests with mobility issues, be aware that the property does have a couple steps into the sunken living room and from the house to the back yard. Overall I think this property is a fantastic value and would stay here again.
