Indian Village has a number of architecturally-significant homes built in the early 20th century and were designed by prominent architects, such as Albert Kahn, Louis Kamper and William B. Stratton, for some of the area's most prominent citizens, such as Edsel Ford and automotive entrepreneur Henry Leland, founder of Lincoln and Cadillac. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

Today, many of the homes have been substantially restored and the tree-lined, walkable community boasts convenient access to downtown and Eastern Market and with no shortage of bars and restaurants nearby. It offers up a number of choices to dine, from farm-to-table (Marrow), vegan spins on old favorites, pizza, and some of the best baked goods in Detroit (Sister Pie).

Spacious Comfortable Home - Near Everything

We had a great visit. The home is large. Four spacious bedrooms. Plenty of room for cooking and lounging. Laundry downstairs, so it was out of the way of everything. We felt very at home here. A+++ Also, every time we got in the car we were 10-15 minutes from our destination. Very convenient t. I loved this visit.
