It was the perfect setting for what we needed. The open concept was ideal. The kids had plenty of room to play both inside and outside. Our family had a gr8 time and weekend at the wedding. Thank You

Great place for big groups

Great Place!

Nice quiet area with stores nearby by car. Nice kitchen and very spacious huge yard to enjoy. Quick and friendly reply to any questions we had. Would definitely visit again.

What a lovely retreat for families

Loved the property! Had all the fun things available for us to connect and relax - big and clean kitchen, spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, ping pong and pool tables, arcade, board games, tv, trampoline, lake with kayaks, bbq ! The best!

Great get away spot for a weekend

Very clean and spacious. Lots of clean sleeping accommodations. Kitchen had all the cooking essentials and plenty of fridge/freezer space. Quiet location. Everything was well maintained. Great overall.

Great Getaway

My friends and I were traveling to Toronto for our annual golf trip. The house is in a great spot to get to some of the premier courses in the Toronto area. It also had great amenities and offered privacy while still being in a convenient location. Would absolutely recommend a stay here.

The inside of this house was clean but looking very worn…..taped Vinyl flooring. Appliances were very good, the house was clean and well supplied with soaps, detergents, coffee filters, towel and good selection of cook wear and utensils.Very disappointed in the BBQ, and the fact that the heavy patio door was extremely hard to open and close and we were using it a lot.The grass in the yard was terribly overgrown and even after the person came to cut the grass there was way to much residue…….flower beds and appearance was unkept and not well maintained.If you expect this kind of money you should have workable doors and decent BBQ for the renters, and do more basic yard work so it looks attractive.

Beautiful place!

We had a great time here with the family. We got to enjoy the entire place, and everything felt very clean and comfortable to be at. We can tell sheets and blankets have been thoroughly cleaned, and floors were well kept. We’ll be eyeing this place for future cottage trips. Thank you for hosting us!

Amazing place

The house was amazing, it came with a poker chip set, a pool table and ping-pong. There were fish in the pond which was nice to see. The heated flooring in the bathroom was a nice added touch.

Beautiful cottage

Staying at this cottage was an absolute delight! Nestled amidst serene surroundings, it offered the perfect getaway. The interior was beautifully decorated, with cozy furnishings and modern amenities, while the outdoor space was a picturesque haven. Quiet, clean gathering place

There were only four of us, but this is a great place with plenty of space to hang out both in and outdoors. Zero neighbors within view. In fact, it may have been a kilometer to the next house down the road. Host communicated well. The water pressure was good in the showers with plenty of hot water.

Great for families

Wonderful place - well equipped, very clean and we felt like we were one of the first guests to stay there. We were there for a golf tournament at nearby Woodensticks and this was a 10 minute drive. Lots to do at the house - pool table/ping pong, poker table, lots of outdoor space (HUGE trampoline which we didn't have the opportunity to use, volleyball net). Many sitting areas inside and out. If you are in the area, would definitely recommend.

Hobby Farm is Awesome!

We booked for 3 nights, 4 days and there was plenty to do in the property. All needs were met (toiletries, utensils, cooking supplies, linens, games, etc.) Small opportunities on pingpong balls were not bouncing well and water pressure was weak, but they were not a detriment to the experience. We would recommend this place to all families!

Great stay for our family

Grandparents and two families with grandkids, 9 in total. The games room was a great hit for everyone, especially the kids. Pleased with cleanliness. Everything was as advertised. No surprises. Everything we needed to enjoy our time together. Lots of space for dining together and the 2 entertainment areas worked out great.

Uxbridge Gathering

We were a group of 7 (60 plus year old) long time women friends having a reunion. The booking, check in and check out was easy and seamless. It is a beautiful, well maintained country property with ample space both inside and out. The kitchen is modern and spacious to allow for group food preparation, We got lucky with some great fall weather and really enjoyed gathering on the spacious deck areas or around the fire pit.

Great family place

We found the kitchen/dining/family area to be spacious and comfortable. We spent most of our time here. The lower floor was a bit cool and we didn't bring wood for the fireplace. The yard was big. As it was winter, we didn't get to enjoy all the outdoor deck and patio space. We never did find the electric car plug in outlet. Super clean. Great place.

Nice, very nice

We have a fantastic stay in Uxbridge. Everything in the house was as advertised. Only one bedroom was only reachable thru another bedroom. The house is nice and the garden is awesome. It’s one hour drive to Toronto, but every day it take longer to come there. To much traffic!

A great space for a big group. We were a group of 10 adults for a birthday celebration and really enjoyed the backyard and dock, as well as the living/dining area. The house is clean and well equipped. The outdoors area is huge and beautiful - we spent most of our time near the pond either on the dock or under one of the trees for shade. Truly idyllic. We saw a lot of foxes while we were there, which was really exciting. And almost all of us got on the trampoline! I would recommend bringing extra pillows as there is only one per sleeping space and if you're planning to have someone sleep on the basement couch, bring extra blankets as the basement was very cold and we couldn't figure out how to change the AC. The pond was smaller than expected (there's a lot more reeds than in the picture) so we didn't end up swimming, but it was wonderful to sit on the dock and listen to the birds and frogs. Overall very happy with the property and would book again for a similar trip. It's only about an hour from Toronto and is also close enough to Uxbridge that running errands is easy but once you're at the house it feels very private and secluded.
