Perfect quiet getaway

Had a wonderful time with my kids fishing from the dock! We all fit comfortably and got to relax away from the hustle and bustle!

Great family experience

The cottage was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The boat launch is close to the property and enough parking for truck and trailer and another vehicle at the property. Thanks Alto for everything. Would definitely stay here again.

A cute lakeside cottage with an open concept main area and three watercrafts (kayak, paddle boat, and canoe). The lake was unfortunately not safe to swim in because of a blue green algae bloom but we still had a great time. The host, Alto, is very prompt to reply to messages and very professional. There are large jugs of bottled water in a water dispenser for drinking and cooking.

A lovely stay

Very comfortable cottage with a good view of the lake. Host was friendly and responsive. I didn’t realise we couldn’t swim at the dock due to weeds, but that was more my naivety. You can drive 15 mins to a sandy shallow beach. Good fishing and the host was very helpful in that respect. We all really enjoyed our visit!

Weekend dtay

The host was amazing. The cottage was very nice and cozy spot to enjoy with friends or family. The water is not swimmable water tho. We had a few minor questions or needed help with some stuff, the host was easy to reach and resolve everything within 1 hr. Highly recommend.

Great getaway!

Wonderful location right on Lake Scugog with canoe and kayak on property! Very quiet and very comfortable and off the beaten track. Felt like a home away from home. Not far from amenities but a long trek to the airport. All appliances functional and well stocked with water and some basic food items. Local TV would have been nice but Roku apps were available. Host was responsive to minor issues we had.

A very odd request

Reading the booklet at the cottage there was an odd request for the 4 of us to use toilet then the toilet paper was to be folded and placed in the garbage are you kidding me !!!!!! Just because the owner is from a counrty we’re this is what they do don’t bring it in my world. This was not disclosed through communication when booking at anytime and it’s to save money . As you could understand We denied the owners request 100%

Great cottage for the whole family!

This cottage was great! It was well equipped with everything we could need. Alto and Josie put a lot of care into the cottage and had a lot of things we might have forgotten, they even had some snacks there for "just in case". We went with our whole family and everyone had a great time. We didn't realize when we booked it that the lake was not swimmable but they had a kayak and paddle boat that was great fun with the kids. Big yard and all the rooms were spacious. The neighbors were also very friendly and came over and said hello! Port Perry was 20mins away but had a great park and pool for the kids! We would definitely stay here again!

Scugog Stay

Big windows, great view of the lake, nice size property. The cottage was nice. the boat launch was close and the cottage was very easy to get to. Its a bit weedy around the dock but if you dont have seadoos its fine. Cant swim there but the sandbar is close

Clean, friendly, good times

Property was extremely clean, full of all the necessities. Alto was very kind and accommodating, easily reachable. Would 100% rent again!

Great relaxing lake, perfect for families. Cottage was stocked with everythjng you need. Will definitely stay here again.
