Great location, one minute walk to lake, 6 minute bike ride to town. House fit the bill for a wonderful vacation for 6 adults and 2 kids. Nice kitchen and dining room, comfortable living room, three queen bedrooms and a 2 twin bed for the kids. The finished game room with a projection tv and foosball game was a nice space, along with the downstairs laundry. Rick, our host, was very accommodating, as we had an issue with an obnoxious LED motion light, which he readily addressed and rectified, making for a wonderful evening space on the large porch with dark night skies.

This property is beautiful. The host had everything we could possibly need and a few extras that were much appreciated! It is very clean and looks exactly like the photos posted. We will be back!

Beautiful house

The house was beautiful and had plenty of space. The basement was an excellent place to hang out with the projector and fooze table. Loved our stay would rent again

Good location…only five minutes to get to all the fun in Old Forge! Great area for hiking, water sports, going out to eat, and shopping. The house was clean, and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us. Really liked the finished basement bonus area and being able to do laundry. There’s a short walk to the shore from the house that could be challenging for someone with mobility issues due to the tree roots on the path. But the path is pretty and First Lake is lovely. The shore is sandy and a nice place to read.

Everything was nice, the beds whoever were not comfortable

The only things that was a disappointing was the beds. Very hard or old beds that caved in the middle.

Unfortunately the property did not get a walk threw before my guests and I arrived. The TV wouldn't connect during the whole stay. The smoke alarms went off by just running blow dryers (once). There were only two towels in upstairs bathroom. We found them in the dryer. Very dusty. The handle to the hot water in the shower fell off in the main floor bathroom. The clock didn't work and light bulb out in the ceiling fan. Never found the TV remote for downstairs bedroom.John a very young man came out to the property. He as well couldn't get the main TV to connect. He went and got batteries, a light bulb and glue.John changed the batteries in the clock, he did not have a ladder to change out the light bulb. John also glued the handle for hot water it fell off the next day.

We have also updated our pre-arrival checklist to better verify that all amenities are functioning and fully stocked before check-in. Paying top dollars for a weeks stay we expected top notch accommodations. Host was accessible and provided check-in and check-out instructions. When we arrived we did walkthrough and noticed a huge rip in movie room sectional the stuffing was in plain view; the couch in living room the left and right foot rests kept falling off, dishwasher rollers on bottom rack were missing difficult to roll in and out while also bending bottom plastic spray arm; large scratches on living room wall; also evidence rodents, fruit left on counter was knawed during night. We reported several of these issues to host and received answer back that they were aware of these issues and would note for future guests! If they were aware of conditions why weren’t the issues immediately repaired when initially reported!
