Pea Cottage is a very charming little place! So close to Evangeline Beach and being able to walk the shore when tide is out. Very close to Wolfeville and the Wineries. Highly recommend!

Beautiful spot to watch the tide come and go!

Perfect spot to rejuvenate and relax before conference time. The cottage was just perfect for checking out the tidal pools and walking on the beach. And of course the wineries are really just a short drive away!

Evangeline Beach Cottage

A wonderful location that provided us with the opportunity to explore the Annapolis Valley and the local vineyards. We tasted a couple of the local wines in the evening while enjoying the warmth of the wood stove. It was very thoughtful of the Sean to provide the firewood.

We have used VRBO rentals for years and this is the first time we have been so disappointed. The outdoor seating/crammed against neighboring cottages with board fences, abandoned cottage next door, no pleasant views from any window and poorly laid out floor plan. Linens stored in the living room was inconvenient, the bed was sagging and very uncomfortable and the overall atmosphere of cottage was like being in a hunting camp. The cottage was clean and did have any appliance needed but we didn’t want to spend any time there. There is a light switch without a plate cover and the drapes in the living room don’t cover the windows. Very very overpriced. Note: there is a reason why there are no interior photos of the cottage on the Vrbo site

Let me start by saying of all the year's using vrbo and other similar rental platforms, this is the first time I've received a review unlike all the others. It's advertised as a cottage with a short walk to the ocean and a short drive to all wineries. The cottage is under 700 sf, so how inconvenient can a wardrobe full of extra linens and bedding actually be? There is no abandoned cottage anywhere near Evangeline Beach. My neighbor is renovating a space on her property to be an accommodation. The privacy wood fence surrounding the backyard is a blessing to all renters except you. I'm unsure why that would be? Let me finish by saying that I would suggest you educate yourself on the use of the app and vrbo website as there are 24 pictures showing both the exterior (including the wooden privacy fence) and every square inch of the interior. There are no surprises in how this property is advertised or how it is presented. Enjoy your travels and I hope you begin to find the beauty that is in everything around you as you travel throughout Nova Scotia.

This was a charming place, steps from the beach. We arrived late and entered by lockbox. We found a comfortable bed, ample room for clothes, etc. and older but fully functional appliances. The shower/bathroom was a tight fit but everything worked well. TV was hard to figure out for a pair of tech dunderheads. We had no contact with the host while there. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cute and charming cottage with all the amenities. My own fault I actually didn’t read the description correctly and thought it was on the beach. So just be aware there’s no views. Owner was out of the country so took a while for replies. Also we stayed during a hurricane! Though thought of cancelling. I think the owner could’ve checked up on us to make sure we were ok. All in all a lovely small cottage but needs a new mattress on the bed. Very lumpy and sags in the middle. Better communication and a new mattress will make a nice accommodation even better!

In the Land of Evangeline

I grew up in Wolfville, N.S & boarded my pony in Grand Pré as a kid. I returned to Wolfville this past November to take care of some family matters & wanted to stay in Grand Pré. When I did a search on Vbro, Sean’s lovely beach cottage was the only option, so I quickly booked it. I’m so glad I did! The cottage was warm & comfortable, & although the dryer wasn’t working, Sean informed me of this fact. Instead I easily hung my clothes to dry in the toasty warm bathroom & everything dried quickly. The ocean isn’t far from the cottage, so I was able to easily walk over & watch the high tide rolling in. It was such a peaceful & serene setting & welcome relief to return to after some of the difficult issues I was dealing with during the day. Sean is a very good communicator & answered my messages quickly. I highly recommend this quaint cottage in the magical Land of Evangeline, Grand Pré.

The cottage had everything we needed and more! We had a great stay and also got to see amazing birds in the area every day, which was an unexpected treat! 4 bald eagles in one day, that was really cool!
