As we so genuinely shared with you, we want nothing more than for guests to enjoy our lake house and have truly incredible experiences. This is so much more than a business to us. We are deeply saddened by this review. While it would certainly never be our intent to use this review space as a place to engage in disputes with guests, we feel that we must provide further feedback here, as this review reflects false and misguided information about our property and is unfair for others who may consider a stay at our home. We will choose not to elaborate on the way you conducted yourself as a guest but, instead, will focus on the inaccuracies of this review. It should be noted that there is no cliff on our property. Our backyard backs up to the lake on a downward slope, as the pictures show, providing a pathway to the water. There are rocks along the water as a natural part of the shoreline, which many people find helpful when stepping into the lake or even putting kayaks in. We have taken great care to ensure our lake access is accurately depicted, as well as the other things in our listing, including the upstairs bathroom size and queen-sized beds. We are so sorry that you expected these things to be different. It should be further noted that there is no boat house. Our garage is just that - a garage, as pictured - with kayaks, bikes, yard games, and a ping-pong table. You are correct, there is no a/c in the garage. It’s simply a great storage space for all the outdoor fun. It has, however, become a popular spot for guests to spend time, so a fan has become a nice addition! (Lastly, it is difficult for me to follow what you are referencing in your mention of things left out with little notes and to lock up. I do not understand this part of your review.) We tried so hard to bring joy to you and your family throughout your stay. Perhaps, in some way, we did. We do hope some special family memories were made and that you were able to experience the peace and tranquility that this place brings to many.
