We’re Carl, Kris, and our little man - a UK family who fell in love with Hurghada (and the sun, because Manchester doesn’t have much of that). We spend our time juggling work, family, and trying to keep up with a very energetic toddler. Hosting is our way of sharing the joy we get from our home here - plus, it gives us a good excuse to keep coming back “to check on the apartment” (also known as sneaking in pool time).
Why they chose this property
We wanted somewhere warm, fun, and family-friendly, with plenty to do but also plenty of excuses to just sit by a pool. Hurghada ticked every box - four pools at the resort, five minutes to El Gouna, the Red Sea at your doorstep, and more sunshine than we could ever use. It’s also the perfect spot for parents who want to relax, and kids who want to swim until they look like raisins.
What makes this property unique
Our apartment isn’t just a place to stay - it’s set up the way we’d want to holiday as a family. You’ve got four pools to pick from (including a heated hideaway pool in winter), a modern apartment with air con in every room (yes, even the living room), and a resort that’s close enough to El Gouna for adventures but quiet enough to actually sleep. Basically: it’s family-proofed, sun-soaked, and has just enough chaos to remind you that real people own it.
