Ceci est une maison de 3 chambres (1 reine, 2 doubles), 2 salles de bain située au centre du parc national d'Acadia, les autres villes de l'ßle et Bar Harbor avec toutes les commodités de la maison. Nous fournissons tout ce dont vous avez besoin - tous les ustensiles de cuisine, vaisselle, linge de maison, savons (vaisselle, lessive, bain), produits de nettoyage de base, sacs poubelles, papier toilette, serviettes en papier, papier d'aluminium, sacs à sandwich, etc. Il y a un micro-ondes, grille-pain, cafetiÚre, laveuse et sécheuse. Our stay at Jan’s cottage was absolutely wonderful. The cottage is spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable. The location is ideal: tucked away in a quiet spot for peace and relaxation, yet just minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It was the best of both worlds—close to all the attractions but with the privacy and calm of a retreat. It’s the kind of place you look forward to returning to after each day’s adventure.

We loved it. It was right on Mt. Desert Island and 10 min from everything, including entrance to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. We got the best of both worlds- the town and people amd then went to our secluded quiet space at night. The house had everything we needed. We could not have asked for more:)

Great place!

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay on Gemstone Way! The house met our needs very well and the location is perfect for short trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The house did have a lot of pet hair around, but if you’re not bothered by that it’s a great place to stay! We are very thankful for our time here and we hope to stay here again!

Great location

The home is in a great location, close to everything. Its small, but just enough for the 3 of us. The only bad thing i can say about the house is the musty smell. Noticed it every time we can back from our excursions.

The home was immaculately clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—tucked away in a quiet, scenic area, yet just a short drive to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The outdoor space was a true highlight, with a lovely deck and peaceful surroundings that made it easy to relax and enjoy the beauty of Maine. We appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home, from the cozy furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen. The host was responsive and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. Great Location, comfortable , everything you need for a short stay

This house is located within ten minutes of Bar Harbor /Acadia. It is well equipped with all you need for a week long stay. It was very clean when we arrived and provided all you need to maintain that. Checkin and check out was easy. Although we didn’t need it communication with the owner was available . We would definitely stay here again.

Dated, but affordable.

Booked this property as a last minute stay and it suited our needs. It was right on Mt Desert Island, minutes from Acadia, and was affordable for our family of five. You do get what you pay for though. The property was dated and things were run down. Incredibly damp inside - towels and clothes didn’t dry overnight - a dehumidifier would be a benefit if installed. Overall, we were happy with the price and location, but feel the rental could use some TLC. You could find everything you need in the kitchen to boil some lobsters though, so that’s a big plus!

Annual MDI Trip

Janice‘s house was exactly as described. It is a very good location to get to the hiking trails on the busy and the quiet side of Acadia. We had plenty of room for the two of us and our two dogs. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of fans and the living room and two of the bedrooms have some kind of AC system on the wall. It was perfect to keep the place comfortable. We already booked our time for next year.

Acadia National Park Vacation for the whole family

This rental is within a 20 minute drive to the Park Loop Road (Cadillac Mountain, carriage roads, bubble rock, Jordan pond) and a 20 minute drive to Ellsworth, Maine ( grocery stores and additional restaurants and shopping). The house is spacious with windows that open ( great window screens) and electric fans. The couch is very comfortable with two recliners on either end of it. The kitchen has a gas stove and oven and an electric microwave. Both bathrooms and kitchen are sparkling clean. There‘s also a lovely wrap around porch with rocking chairs. It‘s a safe location on a little cul-de-sac. It‘s only a 15 min. drive to the visitors center. Bar Harbor is another fun destination that‘s only 20 min. away.

Great Location

Property located near Bar Harbor. Pet and family friendly. Washer and dryer on premises which is a plus. Clean property. There was no battery in the smoke detector and property was a little damp.

Perfect cottage for my family!

The house was in the perfect location--close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. House was clean and well stocked with anything you could possibly need. I loved that I was able to bring my dogs with me as we had lots of fun exploring Acadia together. Woiuld definitely stay here again :))

My husband and I spent many summers here until we decided to move here in 1989. We love Acadia National Park and the towns on MDI. (And fresh lobster of course). Spend your vacation at our rental property and I'm sure you'll fall in love with Maine too!
