Confortable, propre, la maison mise à jour situé dans la ville de Bar Harbor, à 5 minutes à pied de la place du village.
Situé dans un quartier calme avec une grande cour fermée, cette maison est un endroit idéal pour des vacances en famille.

Trois chambres, une salle de bain, cuisine, salle à manger, salon et enrouler autour de terrasse avec barbecue - tous sur un seul niveau, avec également une buanderie au niveau du sous-sol avec laveuse / sécheuse.

Chambres: chambre de maître avec lit queen, 2ème chambre avec lit queen, 3ème chambre avec 2 lits jumeaux. Maître a fenêtre AC, 20 'TV, 3ème chambre a fenêtre AC.

Cuisine: tous les appareils mis à jour - lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, cuisinière / four, mixeur, mixer, TV - barre centrale avec 2 tabourets.

Salle à manger: Places assises 6 autour de la table de salle à manger, avec des chaises pliantes pour les clients.

As always, a nice stay at the Shannon Cottage. So quiet and calm and yet only a few minutes walk to Bar Harbor Center.

Wonderful bat harbor house 5-min walk to downtown. Had everything you needed and more. Clean and comfortable beds, perfect fenced in yard, a/c to keep cool. Would stay here again. One note: the hosts recently remodeled the bathroom, and it’s very nice but they did remove the bathtub in the picture. Just note if you are selecting this location and expecting to have access to a tub.

Shannon Cottage was well appointed, clean, and very comfortable. The host was lovely, and provided detailed information needed for check as well as location specifics a few weeks out, and the check out routine was easy peasy. The location was absolutely fabulous - close enough to walk into town, yet far enough away from the center to be a peaceful retreat. All in all a five star experience, and our dog gives his vacation 2 paws up! Thank you to our host, Barbara! MCF

The house was satisfactory- especially in being so close to the Centre of the town. BUT The host’s “regulations” were a burden: 9 a. m. Checkout; all dishes to be washed, dried and put away; you can use the beach towels ONLY if they are washed, dried and put away before you leave … also SAFETY- no “grab bar” in the shower; the porch lights were disabled so we came home in the dark. We stayed here for a week over the 4th of July and was great. This house was one of the best appointed VRBO rentals we have stayed at. Everything was thought of, downtown beach towels and chairs. We loved how walkable it is to Downtown Bar Harbor. We were able to walk to the main drag within 5 minutes and could walk to the harbor on the other side within 10 minutes. It was also very close to Acadia and could get to most trail heads within 15-20 minute drive. Even with being so close, still had a quiet neighborhood feel.

Our family and our dog had an absolute blast staying at this wonderful home in Bar Harbor! The location could not have been better. We were within easy walking distance of the local shops and restaurants, which made exploring the town completely effortless. Having a fantastic playground just a short stroll away was a massive bonus for the kids.It is also incredibly accessible to Acadia National Park, making our daily outdoor adventures smooth and stress-free. The house itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and immediately felt like home. One of our favorite features was the great backyard, which provided the perfect, safe space to run around and play with both the kids and the dog after a long day of hiking.We had a truly perfect stay and are already looking forward to coming back. We would absolutely choose to stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended for families looking for the ultimate Bar Harbor getaway!

This property is perfect for people traveling with their dog(s)! Dogs can safely enjoy a large fenced in yard and also have access to the wrap around deck. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only a short stroll to reach Bar Harbor. We had a nice family vacation with our adult sons and their spouses. Plenty of space for all of us. Also, the kitchen is well appointed with what one would normally need. Quality bathroom linens was an appreciated touch also. We will definitely return to Shannon Cottage (we even know the perfect spot to add a 1/2 bath!)

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barbara’s beautiful property in Bar Harbor. The house was perfect, comfortable, clean, and cozy. We arrived a little before check-in and Barbara was kind enough to let us check in early! The house lacked nothing… the kitchen is fully stocked, the directions for everything (tv, smoke alarm, etc) all clear, and the shower was great after long days of hiking and walking around town. The location is wonderful. We were away from any town noise but able to walk to anywhere in bar harbor (shops, restaurants, food shopping, etc) within 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this property! We hope to be back. Thank you! :)

We stayed here 3 years ago and we enjoyed it both times. Our dogs loved the fenced backyard and we all enjoyed the short walk to everything downtown. The bathroom has been updated and is really nice. The house is cozy and comfortable. We have stayed in several other properties in Bar Harbor and we like this one best for our travel needs.

Barbara was a great host and very responsive. The house was well laid out and well stocked from towels to kitchen needs. House was clean and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog to run around off leash. Great location with only a 7 minute walk to the Green.
