Welcome to The O Ranch!

This charming barn-style retreat offers the perfect escape for weekend getaways, girls’ trips, family reunions, or a relaxing break. Located just about 30 minutes from Round Top/ Warrenton Antique Week/ Lake Somerville/ Aggie football games).

2,500 sq ft. • 5 bedrooms • 2 full baths

The space
Nestled in the peaceful woods, this lovely home invites you to unwind and enjoy nature. Step outside the back door to take in serene views of scattered oak trees or try your luck fishing in the pond (catch and release). In the evening, experience breathtaking sunsets while grilling outdoors and relaxing by the firepit.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a current burn ban, the firepit is off-limits during your stay.

NO exploring of the property past the fence.
NO ATVs are allowed on the property.
NO Hunting, Firearms, or Fireworks Permitted.

This property is surrounded by wildlife, including potentially dangerous animals, so please enjoy the natural environment responsibly.

Only one night; but great stay

This was our second time to stay here. I love the location. Its so quiet and you can really enjoy the night sky. The home was everything you need, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels. I enjoyed getting up early and watching the deer roam around.

A beautiful outdoor setting

True ranch house style, the decor is cute, lots of wildlife for the kids to see and we enjoyed sitting outside by the pond looking for deer. We were there for a short stay and everything worked fine.

Texas Vacation

The property worked well for our stay and we all liked the secluded setting of the house. The house was clean and had plenty of space for our family. Also sitting on the back porch in the evening looking at the pond and watching the wildlife was really nice. Thanks.

Rural

This place is rural for sure. Every morning we saw some wildlife, deer rabbits. There is a high fence property that joins this property so a great place to see wildlife. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The living area is large and comfortable. The bathrooms are small but have everything necessary to get the job done. One of the bathrooms needs the toilet paper holder repaired (it has come loose from the wall). I was unable to get the TV to work. (would not turn on with any of the remotes or power button on the TV). It should be noted that there is a gate at the entrance to the property that the owner would like closed each time you enter and depart the property. The gate is across a cattle guard, the ladies in our group did not feel comfortable standing on the cattle guard and pulling on the gate at the same time. The place does not have internet and none of our group had cell service unless we went outside. The place is beautiful and if you are looking for somewhere to get away from it all try this place.

We are so glad you enjoyed the property. There is a house manual binder in the kitchen with important information about the home, which addresses how to turn the tv on. We would have been happy to help you during your stay. We are always available by call or text while you are staying with us.
