If you are looking for an escape with family or your significant other, look no further.The cottage has just about everything you could ask for. It's clean and comfortable with beautiful views, you own sandy beach area, a dock, Adirondack chairs to sit back and relax at the dock ot by the fire pit.Even when you're sitting in the living room playing board games or streaming a movie, the lake view is not far away through the wall of windows...Furniture is comfortable, big kitchen table, no tub, but the shower is awesome.The gift basket was a nice touch and the info provided was very helpful.It's an awesome vacation spot, minutes from the charming little town of Mattawa and we will be back. Thanks for the awesome week, I we couldn't ask for more.

We loved everything about this beautiful cottage. Our group of 6 adults was very comfortable. We were in the area for ATVing and the trail is right down the road. Hope to book a return next year.

Great spot!

This was such an awesome place. I would highly recommend anyone with children stay here. The little beach was great and the water was warm. The town of Mattawa is beautiful.

Amazing vacation

Loved this property. Hosts were also amazing.

Northern Ontario Gem

I highly recommend this little gem of a cottage if you are looking for a private and relaxing getaway. The cottage is clean and well maintained and offers a beautiful view of Northern Ontario nature at its best.

Second great atv getaway

This was our second time staying at the cabin for a long weekend atv trip. We booked this cabin again since we were so impressed when we stayed last year. Very clean, cozy atmosphere and right down the road from the trail system. Highly recommended.

Amazing family time!

A great mix of relaxation, fishing, paddling, swimming, board games, and horseback riding nearby. This was our second visit and it was just as amazing as the last. Tina and hubby were super responsive to any questions we had. Can't say enough about this place. We hope to be back again!

Great log cabin cottage, on nice private location. Everyone enjoyed the kayaking, canoeing, swimming and floating on the river. Well stocked cottage. Mattawa is a very friendly little town; go to the poutine shack! GB Beeton, Ont.

Beautiful cottage by the water!

Tina is an amazing host who has thought of everything you will need while staying at her clean and cozy cottage. We were greeted with a basket full of goodies and a breathtaking view! Her cottage is close to town and a variety of trails. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Perfect Spot!

This was our third stay at this cabin for a fall ATV trip with some friends and family. Always spotless and well appointed. Three and a half days of rain didn't stop us from having a great time on the VMUTS trail system...which is conveniently just a short ride down the road. Just a few minutes from town yet very private. Everyone in our group loves this place.

Relaxation at Its Best!

Undoubtedly one of the most relaxing cottage experiences I've ever had! Lots of kayaking, canoeing, fishing and swimming for all and a beautiful view for reading / relaxing by the water. Also one of the quietest lakes I've ever stayed on. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and we were impressed by the well equipped kitchen. Thanks so much Tina and Wayne for your quick responses to questions and making our vacation a great one!

Time Stands Still Here

This is a special place, where time stands still. My husband and son both caught pike off the end the dock, and we enjoyed kayaking around the lake. Unfortunately we could only stay a few days because a family crisis brought us home early.
