Dana Strand Oceanfront Condo with Pool! Newly remodeled condo sitting at the peak of Dana Point. Strand Beach below beckons you for all your favorite water activities.



Be among the first to experience this newly remodeled condo with whitewater ocean views that stretch on for miles. Everything was redesigned to open up the condo and let the cool ocean breezes in. The pool is in the front yard and is shared by only 7 other units. Light and bright interior gives you all the comforts of home while gazing at the best views in Dana Point.



NOTE: This condo is offered for the 2 people renting and no outside visitors are allowed.



Dolphin and whale sightings are common from the patio of this condo. Take a stroll down to Strand Beach via the path right below and catch a wave. This condo has been highly upgraded with the finest designer touches: beautiful wood flooring, granite gray and white counter tops, stylish furnishings, and all new kitchen appliances. The cozy living room has ample seating and takes full advantage of the view while offering the comforts of a fireplace and watching a large flat screen TV. Dine alfresco on the front patio and catch a dip in the heated pool that is shared by only this small complex. The Master Bedroom has a comfortable master bed with a new Duxiana mattress from Sweden as of 2019, TV, dresser and wardrobe. Attached to the master is a full sized bathroom.



Located just south of Laguna Beach, Dana Point is one of California's jewels of coastal living with its close proximity to LA and San Diego and all major theme parks: Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood, Lego Land, San Diego Zoo and Sea World. Three world class resorts are less than one mile away at the St. Regis, Ritz Carlton, and Laguna Cliffs Marriott. Enjoy all the water-oriented activities in Dana Point Harbor: swimming, sailing, surfing, fishing, whale watching, jet skiing, kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. The Ocean Institute in Dana Point Harbor is dedicated to the preservation of marine life and it won't take long to spot dolphins, whales, harbor seals, and California sea lions. Spectacular view and beautiful home! House has everything you need for cooking and has a great walking score. The location, view, and quietness really hard to beat. Our host was very accommodating, respectful, thorough and timely with communication.

Would have loved to stay longer...

What a beautiful and peaceful place! We chose this place with the intent to get away from the hectic and noisy city life, to be able to relax on a patio, enjoy the pool and the view, take runs and walks at the beach...and that's exactly what we found. Carla was very accommodating for our late night check-in and ensured we got everything we need. Definitely a place we'd love to come back again.

Comfortable and quiet

We very much enjoyed our stay At your condo, it was very relaxing and enjoyable and loved being steps away from the pool. The condo is very well stocked with everything you need. The showers were perfect for my husband who had just had a stroke and needed a walk-in shower. And the ease of getting to the condo from the driveway was perfect ! We hope to return someday.

consistently good

Our second rental with Carla was as good as our first. Well-stocked, clean, great view, pool, conveniences, restaurants, on and on. Apparently this winter was a cold one for SoCal but heating was fine in the unit. The unit is quiet and neighbors are all considerate. A very comfortable rental with lots of unbeatable trails and options for walking etc, unless of course, surfing is your thing. We'll be renting again.

Perfect location by strand beach

Property is perfectly clean, renovated 2 bedroom spot. The bed was comfortable, the showers were clean. A great view of the ocean from the common pool area. Two patio doors swing open to get nice airflow and the smell of the ocean air throughout the condo. There is one dedicated parking spot in the driveway for this unit with additional street parking available. The kitchen is well equipped, the tv’s were great. Not a criticism(simply a statement): laundry facilities are pay and in adjacent building. I would stay again!! The host communication and follow up was perfect

Perfect

This was the perfect place for me to stay. It was safe, had beautiful views, was relaxing and quiet. The only thing was after the manager had cleaned the unit, the owner had been there with friends prior to my arrival. Therefore, it was a bit disappointing in the cleanliness department. The manager was upset as well, but it didn't take me long to polish and shine and then all was well. There was a closed-up smell (possibly unclean drains) that never went away for the entire week. I placed charcoal and coffee pods along the shower drains and it helped. If this odor problem gets resolved, I would highly recommend staying there. Everything else was fantastic.

clean means everything for my wife

Wasn't just clean enough - it was spotless. My wife can't help herself and over-cleans as soon as we get to any rental. It was funny seeing her, a bit dumbfounded, about what to clean - we've never had such a squeaky clean rental. In fact, I'm revising another review as a result of seeing this level of clean. The unit was perfect, and exactly as advertised (and what you see in the pictures). It had every convenience, and fully stocked. Having to share the washer/dryer was not a big issue as it's shared with only the condo owners (I think 4 units, in total). Carla is a wonderful property manager and we have no doubt who we are renting from when we book our next stay. Because of this unit we have a new, and higher standard for our next rentals. Thanks Carla.

Spectacular View and Great Condo

The combo is updated, clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, and its view of the beach and ocean is spectacular. Highly recommend. Only 2 people are permitted, and no guests are permitted. King bed is very comfortable. No ac needed during our stay. Flickering light above kitchen table was only maintenance issue (not fixed during our stay). Two great restaurants on Dana Point - Whitestone and Luciana’s.

Unbelievable Hilltop Ocean View & Super Cool Condo! We Never Wanted To Leave!

We absolutely loved the location, panoramic ocean and mountain views and friendly neighbors! The Property Manager, Carla, was simply the best! She always answered our calls and texts promptly, even at night. She was so friendly and made us feel right at home. The condo is really cute, spacious, well stocked with basic necessities and far exceeded our expectations in every way! We met some neighbors and they were really cool too. There are sidewalks and beach access very close by.

The Views!

The condo was very nice, just as pictured. The views are incredible, better than we imagined. It was quiet, relaxing and convenient for our purposes. Carla was quick to respond to our messages. Great for adults looking for a Dana Point getaway.

What a wonderful vacation site

My wife and I stayed at this property from 2/8 to 2/15/2021. This property is located on a hill which overlooks the Strand Beach and the ocean. The view is absolutely breath-taking. In addition, this unit shares a swimming pool which overlooks the ocean with 7 other units. There are a few hiking trails leading to the Strand Beach. This location is quiet, yet just within minutes to downtown Dana Point and Laguna Beach. The unit itself is very cozy and nicely decorated with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms ( both with showers), a fire-place, a large dining table, a comfortable sofa, and a good-sized kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all needed appliances, many cooking pots and pans, toaster, crock pot, and basic cooking seasonings. The eating utensils can be more, though. The only problem with this property is that it only limits to 2 guests, and it does not allow visitors. We will return for sure to this wonderful property.

Amazing property, location and view. Our host Carla was fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for more. The condo was immaculate, and furnished beyond our expectations. We enjoyed and extended our stay. We’ll be back in March.

Our perfection vacation getaway

This condo has been our home away from home vacation getaway every year for the last 7-8years. Prior to this place, we had never stayed at a vrbo more than once. We fell in love with this place and the area the first time we stayed here and thus we keep coming back every year. The view is phenomenal. This has been the perfection vacation place for our family. The pool is so nice to have when the kids don't want to go to the beach . However, the beach is close within walking distances if you choose to. I learned how to paddleboard at the Dana Point Harbor the first time we stayed here. Dana Point Harbor is great place for water activities. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. LOVE LOVE this place.

Spectacular place overlooking Strands Beach and points north, all the way to Long Beach. Pool. Fireplace. Walk to surfing. The only small negative is the soft-ish beds. We are planning on returning next year.

Great Getaway

We have now rented from Carla a few times and never been disappointed. Carla is so helpful and makes the whole process of booking and check in very easy. This Condo didn't disappoint, exactly like the photos, all very modern, the beds comfy, kitchen well equipped, bathrooms modern and clean. Lots of towels too. The wow factor of this condo though has to be the fantastic views of Salt Creek beach, and Dana Point. Takes your breath away just sitting and watching the sunset . So enjoyed having our breakfast looking out onto the views and my kids loved swimming early evening when we were in with the sun setting . Would highly recommend this Condo and we hope to come back as soon as we can.

Beautiful Oceanfront Condo w/ Million Dollar Views

We have rented from Carla Moore for the past 3 years and have never been disappointed. The condo is exactly like the beautiful photos, up to date with very comfy beds. The condo complex has a nice pool, amazing deck with the million dollar views, and a great gas grill which we used. The listing description doesn't come close to describing the views from the deck, they are mesmerizing. We watched the surfers and sail boats every day and took great walks on the beach. My husband didn't use his laptop all week., he was too busy relaxing by the pool and looking at the views to work. The kitchen had everything you could need for a week's stay and both bathrooms are spotless and up-to-date. The French doors opening out to the grassy area was a favorite place of ours for breakfast. I highly recommend this property; we plan on renting it out again next summer for a week. Carla is a joy to work with both during the renting process and while we were at the condo. She is quick to respond to any email/phone call and makes the process so easy to rent. If I could rate this any higher than 5 stars, I would rate it a 10!

One of our favorite vacation spots

Great place for family fun. Condo is beautiful and well appointed, pool and views are amazing. Although centrally located, the property is off the beaten path. Perfect place for a quiet family vacation. Carla @ iTrip is great to work with; We have stayed here many times, and will be back.

THE VIEW OF A LIFETIME!

Second trip to this setting of serenity for my soul....the views cannot be surpassed! I absolutely love it. Don't even have to leave the unit to see the whales, the surfers and the friendly visitors. Loved hiking the headlands and riding bicycles all around Dana Point. No bike lanes where I come from on the east coast.....vacation perfection for us! We find new places to visit and new things to do on each visit. Already planning for next years event....can't wait to see the Pacific one more time.

Stunning

Perfect place.. Spotless, well managed and gourgous area . Open the French doors and hear the ocean while a fire burns at your feet... Nice pool , unbelievable views and a coast that is yours to explore from La Jolla to Newport. Looking forward to returning

Super spot!

Fantastic condo: beautiful & comfortable interior, great pool area with views to die for. Close to the Strand beach which is one of the nicest we've seen. We hope to return!
