Relax and unwind at this tranquil & unique rustic lakefront getaway with spectacular sunsets!
The Hummingbird Cottage is one of five cottages located at the foot of Canadohta Lake. Canadohta Lake is Pennsylvania's second-largest natural lake, with nearly three miles of shoreline. Activities include fishing, birdwatching, minigolf, roller rink, miniature golf, parks, swimming, pontoon boats/ kayaks, and paddle boards.
The Hummingbird is great for a family vacation or a work/play destination. It has use of the 100 feet of private lakefront access with a great view of the lake and sunsets.
The Hummingbird Cottage sleeps seven people. It is 50 feet from the lake and it has 2 bedrooms - 1 full size and 1 bunk with single top and full bottom. There is also a pull-out sofa. It has 1 bathroom, a kitchen with a range, a refrigerator and a small porch. There is a pavilion for outside dining/picnics that is shared with the other 4 tiny cottages equipped with a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided) and a propane grill (propane provided). There is a fire ring at lakefront and there is parking on-site for 1 vehicle only. We do not offer watercraft rentals but they are available locally. Come and visit!

No fireworks. Please be respectful of the other guests and your neighbors and keep the noise down from 10PM to 9AM.

Please no flushing of regular/flushable wipes and/or feminine napkins/tampons in the toilet. There is a trashcan in the bathroom.

At checkout gather used towels/bedding in the bathroom, take garbage to outside dumpster, turn everything off. Clear fridge. Return key to lockbox.

Kayaking and water tubing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hunting and cycling nearby.
