Great place to stay

Our favorite part of the house was the covered front po arch. There was ample comfortable seating. And we loved the curated decor. Very comfortable and well appointed

Great House!

Had great and fast communication with the owner as questions came up! Plenty of parking, beautiful park next door AND you open the front door to tons of butterflies in the flowers around the house!

Evanston

The property itself is very well-appointed and clean. We had problems with checking in and while the property manager was incredibly responsive the delay in getting into the property was frustrating. Overall, I would recommend the property but a few details on the upkeep of the property could be improved upon.

Not as expected

This property is an immaculately decorated, spacious place. It is clear that much care has been given to the ambiance and comfort for tenants. As an example, each bedroom was equipped with sound machines as well as fans that made for excellent nights.The primary drawback from our stay was the location. We expected an idyllic, private spot for our vacation HQ that was easy to walk to the nearby park and downtown areas. However, the neighborhood was very active, including an all-out party until midnight Wednesday with car speakers rattling our windows on our first night. There was a constant presence of locals in the street, in the front yard of this property, and occupying the private driveway (at times blocking us in). We felt unwelcome and unsafe during our stay and left midway through the planned week. After checking out, slight internet searches proved this was a great decision on our part.Aaron was an excellent host and speedy communicator. He was understanding and provided a refund for the days after we checked out. If this property were in a better location it would have been a 5-star review.
