Nature & Environment One of the most memorable parts of staying in a Broken Bow cabin is being surrounded by nature. Because this property is located in a wooded creekside setting, guests may encounter wildlife and seasonal elements during their stay.
Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.
During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.
Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.
We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.
What To Bring We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

Family event, kids enjoyed playing outside and the kids game room. It’s a great layout for a multi family stay and the seclusion of the home was nice.

Great Stay!!
The Governor’s House was amazing! The location is close enough to the area attractions but also in a secluded spot where you feel like you’re one with nature. We enjoyed all of the amenities offered and plan to return! TreeLine was also very helpful and the checkin process was a breeze!

This house was a good fit for our family. We booked it due to layout, outdoor living and swing set. My grand daughter is special needs and loves to swing. She really enjoyed it. This house was
The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s gorgeous! Everything is so well put together and laid out perfectly! 2 mins from town! Cannot express how much we enjoyed this place.

Great weekend getaway for families
We visited with 9 adults and 7 children all under the age of 4. The location of the cabin offered endless exploration for the kiddos. The adults were able to be comfortable in their respective suites and it never felt crowded. The huge balcony was our favorite place to hang out and it was easy to keep an eye on the kids who wanted to play in the hot tub. We loved our stay and hope to return again!

Thanksgiving family trip
The property was perfect for little kids. They had a playground that was perfect for them. Also, their back deck was totally fenced in with the gate for safety. The open floor plan was amazing and we could fit everybody in the living room or kitchen.

Check in was messy, the password wasnt what we were told it was. There was some stuff that was broken when we got there, like the coffee machine and a ping pong paddle. One of the comferters was stringy but over all a very good experience.
We are a very tall family. I’m the shortest at 5’10 and the tallest is 6’8”. Having king-sized beds in all the bedrooms was such a blessing! With such a large family, having a bathroom in each bedroom was fabulous as well. And the bunk room was great for the kiddos…plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cookie sheets and dishes. We did bring our airfryer and one large stock pot, but other than that, we had everything we needed…even some spices! The fenced in playground area was a bonus for sure!!!
18 of us stayed in this beautiful house this weekend. There was plenty of room and comfortable beds. The outdoor area is perfect and has everything you could need. The grill was not working and seemed to have missing parts. The hot tub kept tripping the breaker and wouldn’t heat up and the oven door didn’t seal. Those were the only issues and we will be back for sure.
Beautiful and spacious, kitchen extremely well equipped, clean, comfortable and relaxing

Our group of girlfriends had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was clean, comfortable, and well appointed… with plenty of space for everyone to relax, rest, and enjoy our time together. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms were comfortable with nice linens and they had great bathrooms… water pressure was very weak for a house that size, but we managed. Our favorite was the great porch that provided a peaceful view and room for all eight of us to convene and enjoy morning coffee, or late night snacking! The host was responsive and easy to work with. A great home for large groups and families. Wonderful fenced playground and game room that we never even touched!
