I love this little cabin it's nice and clean and has everything you need it's a quiet peaceful area. We saw several wildlife. Deer, gray squirrel, road runner, and hummingbirds right on the front porch. It's a very peaceful place where you can unwind. Close to a Dollar General which was handy. There's a place just down the road called The Deck which is a great place to hang out and listen to live music.

This cabin was fabulous! Loved the quiet peaceful setting! Watching the deer in the morning on the front porch swing drinking coffee was serene! Cathie gave superb directions to the Cabin in the woods where Google would have failed us. Will definitely be back here next time we come to visit our friends. I cannot explain how much we enjoyed our stay! Loved the story behind the cabin and loved the guide that was provided! Thanks Cathie and Doug, this is a top notch place and value priced!

Cozy Cabin

Cabin in the Woods

This was a great cabin to stay in. Very rustic and in a nice location. The whole process went very well from check in to leaving. I would recommend this cabin

It was rustic, but nice. House was very well stocked with anything you might need. The cabin was very quiet and secluded. Very close to the lake and the town of Cookson. We will stay there again.

Location was so pretty and quiet. The cabin was great and offered everything we needed. We were impressed with the cleanliness. Enjoyed watching hummingbirds and our morning visits with Tiki, one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. I'd definitely recommend to anyone needing a break!
