The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please just leave used beds messy, I like to strip them myself so I know what sheet set goes to what bed.
All used towels can be put in the washer or in the tub in the downstairs bathroom, please do not leave them on the floor.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please remove shoes, the driveway rocks get everywhere if they stick in your shoes and they are hard on the flooring.
Please keep all food and drinks (except water)in the kitchen and dining area . Spill proof cups are the exception.
Absolutely no sitting, standing or jumping over the rail on the upper deck.

Very comfortable and clean home. Very well stocked and comfortable beds. Beach is about a 15 minute walk or short drive. Lake and beach nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay and thank you for sharing your home.
This is the only VRBO I’ve used where the property is better in real life than the pictures online.
Great place, highly recommend.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
As advertised - clean - well supplied - and enjoyable time for us. The difficulty we experienced was with the vrbo app - simply refusing to accept our password - or the new one they approved once changed - ....etc. The house and stay was much appreciated. The app and password tussle with vrbo was unresolved and frustrating.
The convenience of staying here so close to the marina, restaurants/bar/beach... makes such an enjoyable stay. The property can't be beat... always so clean and the amenities are superb. Our third time staying here and won't be our last. Our home away from home. Kim is so easy to work with and makes us want to be sure and care for her home as much as we do our own. Just scheduled for 3 more stays for next year!!!!!
The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The pictures and descriptions online were accurate. We had 10 men (snow goose hunters), so having three showers was awesome.
Our group (6 adults and 2 kids) stayed for three days visiting our family who have a camper/boat on the lake. The location was walking distance from the marina! The house is stocked with all the kitchen and bathroom items you may have forgotten. We loved being able to cook a big meal each night in the full kitchen/dining room and then sit around the fire pit. Very clean and comfortable! Kim was very kind and attentive for any potential needs.
We would definitely stay again.
We visited the house over Christmas for a family reunion. We had 8 adults, one elderly. The house itself is older but has been completely remodeled with top of the line appliances even though we couldn't get the stove to work. Beds are comfortable and entire house is tastefully decorated and welcoming. Basic necessities are provided in abundance and were appreciated. Being an older house, the stairs leading upstairs are pretty steep, senior guests may have issues. Partial view of the lake, beach access is not within walking distance but not far. Keyesport was pretty quiet since it was off season. A couple of minor repairs were needed and not completed but otherwise it was a great stay.
This was an amazing experience! This house is beautiful, clean, and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. Pictures of property are even better in person. I just can’t say enough about this property. When you open the door it’s breathtaking. Communication with owner outstanding and we were welcomed by the most delicious cookies. Visitors to this property should have great respect for it and its owners. The attention to detail is incredible! Definitely would stay here again and would recommend to all family and friends.
The house is beautiful!! Near the beach and boat ramps. Dollar General in town and a Wal-Mart avout 10 minutes away if needed. Just a block from gas station and restaurants. Definitely recommend. Do be aware that it is an older house and the staircase is narrow and steep for individuals that difficulty with stairs. There is a ground floor full bathroom and bedroom with 2 beds. Will definitely be looking to book again when returning to the area!!! 5 Stars all around!!
The property is beautiful and WELL stocked. Plenty of dishes and cooking items. Bedrooms were plentiful and nicely appointed. No complaints but a caution: if you have people in your party who have mobility issues, be aware that most of the bedrooms are up stairs that are not standard tread (steep and narrow) but there is a handrail inside. The outside entrance porches are nice and wide but they have no railings. Otherwise everything was fantastic and I would highly recommend!
Property has everything you need for a home away from home. Came for a boating trip on Carlyle Lake. The property is less than one block from the Tradewinds Marina (they rent slips by the day and have fuel). All you need to bring are your consumables (paper towels, soap, shampoo, charcoal for the grill, etc.). The property has everything else. We took advantage of the fire pit, outdoor seating for dinner, balcony for morning coffee, and the charcoal grill for fresh burgers and wings.Upon arrival we were greeted with a note from the owner and a dish of freshly baked cookies. Amazing. Previously we booked at the Hazlet Cottages, but this was much larger and nicer compared to the cabins. Highly recommend.
