Beautiful house with great views and lots of windows in a really nice remote area. There's limited cell service so it's a great spot for a disconnecting get away.
It was a very well maintained house. The view of the mountains through the window seat was wonderful. There were no serving spoons or ladles, so we had to be resourceful.
Our stay was wonderful! The house was very clean and check in was easy. We took advantage of the membership at the Wheel Inn and had surf and turf for dinner. Delicious! We drove about a half hour to go hiking at Mt. Pisgah County Park. We hiked the Ridge Trail to the Ledge Trail to some beautiful viewpoints. Definitely plan on visiting again!
We had a wonderful time staying here! Everything was clean and tidy and it’s in a great spot to go driving around looking at scenery or finding hiking spots. Hope to come again next year!
The cabin was cleaner and more modern than expected. We were pleased to find access to the local on-site membership only restaurant! Bob was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again
Beautiful scenery of the mountains..would be absolutely wonderful during the fall..hard to find at first but eventually got there..35 minute drive from Little League World series which is why we were there

It was a place to stay
It was a place to stay, once you found it. The address listed was wrong and the only way we found it was from a picture. There was A/C, so that was accurate, but the window unit was in the closet and not hooked up. Couldnt open the upstairs windows to let the heat out because there were no screens but it didnt matter, the windows wouldn't stay open anyway. No door on the downstairs bedroom.
The property was adequate for a night a comfortable sleep in a lovely environment.
Unfortunately we were unable to cook a meal in the kitchen with food stuffs we’d purchased in town because the stove did not work. Neither could we find a microwave to help. This was disappointing. The refrigerator did work so nothing went bad.
Coffee and cold cereal breakfast in the morning looking over the fields was lovely.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience. We were not aware that the stove was not operational. We have a new stove on order now and are adding a microwave.
