OPEN YEAR ROUND-Get back to nature and enjoy the state forest access! This property joins the state forest it’s just a short walk away to hunting and hiking trails galore! Build a fire in the woodstove and kick back enjoy the peaceful, serene nature that surrounds you underneath the forest canopy! Camping on steroids! THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER or Electricity "all solar-powered" there is an outhouse in the back. We do have water and showers available at the campground over across the way. Our Main Office is at 47 Covered Bridge Rd. Hillsgrove Pa please check in there once you arrive. Give our manager a call ahead of time if your stay is a special event we offer packages/options and can help make the event or occasion even better. Same day bookings, Drive in stays allowed if available -Management available 24/7. Call ahead with any questions. Plan your next event or get-together with us.

The cabin was wonderful. My friends had such a nice time in the woods, sitting on the porch and cooking by candlelight.Russ was really kind and helpful during our stay. We got lost in the fog on our way in, and he guided us safely to the cabin and got us set up. Would totally come back!!

Loved the remote cabin. Super cute, property managers were very responsive with communication, made the check in very easy. Will check out their other properties next time! Kids loved disconnecting and playing outside!

Cabin was very quaint. I missed that there was no electricity, water, and an out house for the toiletries. They did have solar lights hooked up for the evenings, which was nice. Candles all throughout the cabin also other supplies that may be needed, that may have been forgotten or not thought of.

Lovely cabin

If you're into a rustic cabin in the woods without electricity or running water, then this is your place. It's our kind of place. However the listing wasn't very clear about what's actually in the cabin and I wish we packed more kitchen equipment and brought a source of power for some medical equipment and fan.

A dream

Absolutely loved this little rustic hideaway. I traveled with my husband to hike locally, if you love “luxurious” camping this is your place. It is simple but charming, the loft bedroom has candle lanterns and its own private balcony space with. I would definitely consider it family friendly (suitably comfortable for 5) a perfect spot for a family with children of any age. I don’t consider it a downside but it doesn’t have running water (there is access to a campground for showers and such) we just planned ahead and brought water. We are absolutely planning on renting this cabin again!

WiFi= no wifi unless you walk a 1000 yards up road. Was told there was a water tank, it was a plastic gallon of water. Said solar power which was 2 tiny lights. Wood stove heated the cabin well. I don’t mind roughing it but just felt information was a little off.

Hunting trip

We came up for an extended weekend hunting trip. The cabin is cozy and rustic, but we did have some issues. The photos show a stove/oven along with a min fridge. Neither worked. They had placed a gas grill on the front porch and we were required to cook all food outside. The cabin is not insulated and the only heat source is a wood stove. When we arrived there was 3 pieces of fire wood on the front porch. We spoke to the owner the next day and he said he typically only has enough wood for one night, but would sell us bundles for $10 each. We offered to get our own firewood from his wood piles since the listing states wood heat source and we need to stay worm at night. The lighting is poor inside, definitely no to bring lighting with you. Also the sink does not drain well at all. Absolutely no check in or check out information listed inside the cabin, and I had to request checkin information because it was never sent to us. Also, the WiFi does not reach inside the cabin. We were prepared for a rustic cabin but the listing was not completely accurate.
