Sea birds crying and flying, sea life visible at times, sea otters, white seals occasionally... and deer roam the property .. also Monarch Butterflies flit through the fresh cool sea breezes. Bag Pipers play and stroll the beach ... a stones through from the house, every Thuirsday evening at sunset. on the Spanish Bay golf course, Asilomar State beach park in front of house.................Dune restoration underway in the area, you would want to be very careful with the fragility of the dunes, ..................we must all respect all creatures great and small and ......................respect ourselves and others... be sure to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium...5 Minute Drive

Splendid home with amazing views!!!

Our family has stayed twice at this lovely, well maintained home. It is spacious and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The views are incomparable. The beds are comfy and new. The living room has plenty of seating, a fireplace feature, and a huge t.v. We already have our next trip there scheduled. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely place, priceless view!

Stayed here with my two sisters for a few days, for our annual sister visit. All three of us were pleased with our stay. The view is absolutely wonderful. The house is comfortable and quiet, with a well equipped kitchen, enormous living room, three bedrooms - each with a queen bed, back porch with chairs and table, ocean views from almost every window, beach pathway right across the street. Quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and all of the Monterey tourist activities. The decor and furnishings are a bit dated, but who cares when you can sit at the dining room table watching whales in the distance! Quite reasonable and affordable, considering the location and amenities. I highly recommend and in fact we're already talking about returning next year!

Mar Luna is Amazing!

What's not to love: non-stop views of the Pacific Ocean from so many windows (living, dining, kitchen and master), Asilomar Beach and miles of walking trail across the street, and Aquarium passes! Our family of four adults and two children (ages 5 and 2) absolutely loved our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the house was clean and in great shape, and opening and closing instructions were clear and easy. We brought bikes and enjoyed riding them from the house to Cannery Row and back, playing on the beach, hiking the ocean front trail, and visiting the Aquarium (our main reason for coming). If you need an ocean fix, this is the house!
