Your home away from home, enjoy the outdoor patio, cook up dinner in the kitchen or on the BBQ, and dine outside by the gas heater. And as the evening cools, snuggle up with your favorite novel as you light up the gas fire pit, or enjoy one of your favorite movies on the flat screen HD TV from our movie collection, or play one of your own on our Blueray DVD player. Comcast adds 140 channels and wifi is also provided.

If you want to get out ... dine at the famous former mayor's 'Mission Ranch' just 3 blocks away. Visit the galleries, shops and restaurants in 'Carmel By The Sea' - just under a mile and easily walkable through the beautiful unique Carmel neighborhoods. Visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium or golf at one of the 18 courses on the Monterey Peninsula.

If you'd rather enjoy nature ... drive through the Del Monte Forest or head south to Point Lobos State Park and Big Sur. So many places to hike and beaches to explore! Rent bikes (or e-bikes!) and cycle along the coast from Monterey, past Lover's Point, to Pebble Beach. Avid cyclers can also cycle north past numerous sand dunes on a coastal bike path. Paddle kayaks on the Monterey Bay, at Lover's Point, or up the coast at Moss Landing.

And at the end of the day, enjoy an outdoor happy hour at Folklore Winery up Carmel Valley Rd, enjoy 3-5:00 PM 'Grazings' at Mission Ranch, or take happy hour to the beach ... with chairs, your beverage of choice, and snacks to watch the sun set over the water.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, you will have complete quiet and privacy. (There is a guest unit behind the main house that we use. The units are completely separate and private.)
