Peaceful Tides is located in Harbour Oaks, a secluded gated community nestled in the heart of St. Simons. You will love being just a short stroll or bike ride away from the enchanting Pier Village, Lighthouse, and peaceful beaches, this location offers an idyllic coastal lifestyle. Immerse yourself in serenity with exclusive amenities, including a pool, scenic lagoons, tennis courts, and a fitness center. Additionally, there is a beautiful park right next door, adorned with moss-covered live oaks, a dog park, pickleball, and basketball courts.

This inviting 2nd-floor condo features two spacious bedrooms, each with a private bath, a beautifully updated kitchen, and a sunroom with a sleeper sofa. Harbour Oaks' beautifully landscaped grounds include charming canals winding through the buildings, creating a tranquil atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at Peaceful Tides. It was perfect for us. The home was well-maintained, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It is in a quiet pet-friendly neighborhood and close to everything. The hosts responded quickly with information about the property, and also provided ideas for places to go and things to do in the area. We look forward to coming back.

This was a beautiful property within walking distance of the Village. It was nice and clean and very well appointed. The owners added a lot of extra touches making it even more inviting and comfortable. The owners were very responsive checked with us to ensure everything was good. We would definitely stay at Peaceful Tides again!

Property and owner were excellent in every way. The owner stayed in constant contact and responded quickly to inquiries. The property was very well-apportioned, clean, and inviting. The complex is well-maintained, quiet, and located in proximity to major areas of the island. Except for traveling to Jacksonville one day, and a grocer that is located about mid-island, we traveled the remainder of the time by golf cart. We will definitely be staying at Peaceful Tides again and recommend that you do also.

I’ve stayed at dozens of VRBOs and these hosts were top notch - friendly, organized, and communicative. :) (Thank you!!) The property decor was lovely, the high ceilings were great, kitchen was well stocked and the beds were cozy. A nice 10-min walk to the pier. Great rental!

Absolutely perfect! It could not have been better. The home was spotless and had everything you could possibly imagine wanting to have an enjoyable trip. The hosts were great about their communication and responded in a timely manner. Highly recommend and will stay there again.

We so enjoyed our stay at Peaceful Tides!! The condo is decorated so beautifully & with all the amenities you could possibly need. It's also quite spacious with comfortable seating and comfortable beds. It's such a nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood with a really nice pool! And so close to the Pier, Lighthouse and so many great restaurants! The hosts Jim and Lee were always quick to reply to any questions we had. Check in and check out couldn't have been any easier. I would definitely recommend this place if you're visiting SSI. Peaceful Tides will surely be the first place I check for availability on any future trips to St Simon's!

I can't say enough good things about Peaceful Tides! Jim and Lee have thought of everything. A beautiful, cozy decor, stocked kitchen, high- quality linens and towels, the comfiest beds, large tvs in every room, the list could go on and on. The had great communication and recommendations. Fantastic place!

The place was just perfect! It had everything we needed, was super clean, and in a great location. The pier, shops, and lighthouse were a short walk away. East Beach was only an 8 min drive away and there is a grocery store close by also. We ate at a few of the restaurants nearby, but also took advantage of the fully stocked kitchen, which had every pan and utensil you could need. Definitely a great place to stay!!

Absolutely lovely and cozy

Everything about this property is about the guests. From enough paper towels and toilet paper to cleaning f supplies to wipe down counters to laundry pods to wonderful linens, pillows and bedding to comfortable and beautiful furniture. These are owners who understand the needs and wants of a guest. The decor is just beautiful. Easy check in and out. One could walk easily to town or a very quick drive. Stay at public beach 5 for closest best (no restrooms or Coast Guard Station). This was our first time on the island and I highly recommend the tent company to set up a spot on any beach. No lugging a bunch of stuff and not worried about tons of sand. We simply loved this condo and hopefully will stay again. Jim was super interactive with information and we were thankful to find such amazing hosts. Thank you for making our first stay at SSI perfect.

Perfect tranquil getaway

We loved Jim and Lee's place -- it was clean, well-appointed, and loved that we could bring our pup! The location is perfect, right near the village, a park, and the beach. We rented a golf cart and loved being so close to everything. It was Memorial Day weekend and even still, nothing was too overcrowded -- I kept remarking that St. Simons is the quietest beach I've been to. Thanks for a great stay!

Golf trip

Great location for our golf coaches to stay for our high school golf state tournament. Owners kept us informed and even able to check-in early once the cleaners were done. Great hosts!

Great Location & Hosts

This condo was exactly as shown and described! The location was perfect providing a nice 10 minute walk to the pier village. The condo is nicely decorated, equipped, and maintained making our stay incredibly enjoyable. The hosts were exceptionally responsive and thoughtful ensuring we had a comfortable and wonderful stay. Without doubt, we will stay at this condo in the future.

The night the lights went out in Georgia.

Our week at Peaceful Tides was the coldest for St. Simons in many years. Arriving in rain and waking to ice breaking power lines, and snow on the ground made for an interesting stay. Realizing our power was off in the condo, we contacted the owners and they were very gracious in offering to work with us in the circumstances. They monitored the GA power situation and kept us informed until all was restored. Barring the weather, our stay was delightful! The condo was as presented and very comfortable for two adult couples. We will definitely return!

Winter Getaway

Our stay at Peaceful Tides was most ideal. The condo is so spacious, clean, cheery, peaceful and very nicely appointed. We enjoyed the space's style and comfort. We felt like the owners were able to strike a wonderful balance between charm and practicality. The condo is in such a great location which we found easily walkable to the Pier Village, the Lighthouse and the beach. The owners are very hospitable, kind and we enjoyed the suggestions they provided on their favorite eateries. Thanks so much, Jim and Lee, for making our St. Simons Island vacation so positively memorable.

My wife and I live north of Atlanta, we visited a few times and we fell in love with St. Simons Island. Our favorite location was Harbour Oaks - We purchased our condo in 2023 and we hope you and your family will be able to enjoy it as much as we do.

We wanted to be as close to the village as possible. Harbour Oaks was our favorite complex because it was steps from the village, gated, peaceful and very private.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The previous owners had done an amazing job completely updating the condo. The kitchen has been opened up to the dining and living areas, it also provides new appliances and a granite bar for extra dining. It took us a while to settle on a name - but the word we heard from everyone who visited was "peaceful" - So we love the name "Peaceful Tides".
