House was great. Excellent location. You could get everywhere in 20-30 minutes. House was very comfortable. The air conditioner worked well, which we were very grateful for. Owner was very responsive.

We had a great stay, the location was perfect for our large family and the house was well kept with everything we needed available. The private beach was definitely more than a 10-12 minute walk as another reviewer mentioned - it was a 1 mile walk and took about 20 minutes at a casual pace. Definitely too long for the kids to walk, and the roads are narrow so I wouldn’t have felt comfortable walking them all down anyway with wagons and strollers in tow, but we had 1-2 adults drive to drop off the rest of the group then walk down to meet us and that worked well. The private beach was not too crowded, and was very nice! The water was calm enough for the kids to enjoy too. We would definitely return for our summer vacation!

This was our third visit . It was perfect for our us. (5) Well equipped kitchen, clean, quiet neighborhood. Central AC is great, especially when temps and humidity get uncomfortable. Dean was a great host, responds quickly to messages. My family and I will definitely go back next summer.

Pleasant visit at Allagash Trail

Our stay was very pleasant. The home was clean and had everything to make your stay comfortable. It was in a nice quiet area. The host was always quick to respond to any questions. This was my second time at this house and I would definitely return the next time I’m in Narragansett area.

Great house and location!

This house was the perfect layout for our 2 families. It was very clean. It was also a central location to many of the places we wanted to visit. Almost everything was 15 mins. We used the private beach a couple of times and did the car drop off and walk back method. Some people did just do the walk (15-20mins). There are other great local beaches that have bathrooms/showers/(food) that you can drive to. Some things to note: no blackout curtains so bring your own if you like it dark, no bike it was being repaired, and no spices or condiments so plan accordingly.

Family beach vacation

Clean and updated beach house. Plenty of space for our group of 7. Young kids had a room to play in without adults “ in the way”. Dean was a great host and responded promptly when the grill had a malfunction. He replaced it the next day. We are all impressed. Be informed, the beach is a mile walk without parking. We planned ahead, designated a driver to ride back and walk to meet us. You can also bike in with racks to lock up. We enjoyed our stay.

Great family house

This was our third year at Dean’s house and as always it was clean and perfect for the whole family. The kitchen and the floors have been redone. Everything looks great. Kelly beach is probably one of the best beaches in Rhode Island. I love all of the little tide pools and the kids had such a great time. The waves are perfect for the little ones.

Lovely beach home

This was a nice sized beach home for 5-6 people. It was great to have most of the living space on the top floor. Plenty of parking, comfortable couches and beds. Fully stocked kitchen. Very clean with plenty of towels, paper products and functional bathrooms. We had a couple hot and humid days when we could not use the two bedrooms on the ground floor. All the vents for the AC are on the top level of the house. Nearby Leo’s pizza and Brickley’s ice cream were great! We didn’t feel safe walking along the road to the private nearby Kelly Beach. Not sure why they don’t put in sidewalks for all the residents of these nearby homes. Plus there was a lot of seaweed and only a Port-a-John for a bathroom. We preferred the drive to Scarborough Beach or Galilee beaches where parking was much easier and costs more reasonable. Narragansett State beach charges $15 for a small non-resident lot (that fills up fast!) and then $12 per person for ages 12+! They clearly discourage non-residents from coming here. We had a fun week overall and would recommend this home to a small group!

Great Location and House

This house was perfect for our group of 8, which included one teething baby. It allowed everyone to have space and some separation when the little one was having a day. Easy walk to ice cream, Kelly Beach and some shops. Quick drive to downtown Narragansett. The house was clean, comfy and Dean was very prompt when we asked questions.

The house was perfect!

The house was great! The only issue was that it listed the beach as being a block away, if you tried to walk it it would take about 30 minutes. But we did find Another beach not too far away that was great!!

Perfect space/Great location

The house was perfect for our family vacation/wedding. The 5 large bedrooms were comfortable and the downstairs was a perfect set up for our adult kids and their friends. Dean was extremely helpful and quickly responded to all questions. The walk to the beach was not too bad and those who didn’t want to walk could be dropped off or could ride bikes. We already booked for next year!

Great location

I enjoy staying in Bonnet Shores, easy access to Kelly Beach and the house came with passes. House was accurate to description. Dean was easily reachable and provided pictures when I asked. Very smooth check in and check out process.

Good location

Not on the beach but a 20 min walk to a private one. It was easier to drop the family off and walk there myself. I’d recommend bringing or renting a bike. The Town beach is a short drive but parking fills up fast. the state beach is a short drive as well with plenty of parking.

Great house!

We stayed here in the summer, and found the house well maintained, convenient to all locations (i.e. beaches) and loved the easy access to Kelly Beach. We plan to stay again; owner was helpful and quick to respond.
