About this property

The Jamestown Retreat

Keep it simple at this peaceful, centrally-located home with an oversized yard. Welcome to the country within the city of Jamestown. Only 4.6 mi. to Sedgefield Country Club, Home of the PGA Tour, Wyndham Golf Championship. 10.4 mi Coliseum & Aquatic center. 5mi- HPU, 10.4mi- UNCG, mins to shopping, restaurants, highways & downtown Jamestown. 2.0 mi to the local brewery & top notch cuisine, Blue Moon Oyster bar, Southern Roots, Black Powder BBQ, etc. Home provides covered patio & fire pit area.

For bookings longer than 30 days, we will collect a $1,200 refundable security deposit. Smoking inside of the home is prohibited. Failure to obey the rules will result in a $500.00 fine.
House rules are in place to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay. Please take note of the house rules before booking the home. Failure to observe these rules can/will result in additional charges. Our homes are inspected after each stay.

DAMAGES:
There will be a temporary hold on your credit card for $200.00. This is a fully refundable deposit and will automatically be released back to your card 5 days after check out, provided there is not damage to the property. If you find any damage to the property during the check in process, please report it to the host immediately and provide pictures.

PARTIES:
Parties are not allowed at this property. Out of respect for our neighbors, we request noise be kept at a minimum between the hours of 11:00pm-8:00am.

SMOKING/VAPING:
Smoking and vaping inside the home is strictly prohibited. Failure to abide by these rules can/will result in fine.

PETS:
Please DO NOT allow pets on beds. Put a blanket down before allowing them on the furniture. Please contact your host if you are traveling with more than one pet, as additional charges will apply. Inform the host of how many pets and the breed. Due to allergy concerns, cats are not allowed.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Very nice and clean place. Just minutes away from many local hot spots and tucked away in a very nice neighborhood. The host was always available and communicating along the way to ensure we had the best stay ever. Highly recommend this as the next getaway.

Summer family vacation

The place was wonderful. Spacious, clean, updated and very comfortable. Showers were great and AC was great. No problem keeping cool in the 98 degree heat. Quiet and close to everywhere we went.

Our Awesome stay at Jamestown retreat. In Jamestown Nc.

This is an awesome place to stay, from the location to the quietness of the area. It is very clean and comfortable. A home away from home. The host Michael was very accommodating. An added plus is the accessibility ramp to enter the home as well as the grab bars in the walk in shower. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks again Michael. Maybe put a air fryer in. Lol

Can use some tlc

Inside was pretty clean but no attention to detail. Toilet seat was broken outside needs serious attention. Dirty porches grass was very high and lawn full of weeds and cob webs everywhere. Ended up cutting our stay a day short and stayed elsewhere. Communication with host was not the best

Hi Stephanie, I just reviewed all of our communications and it looks as though all of your questions were answer within a reasonable time. You did let us know you were leaving early but didn’t mention any of these things during your stay. When you received the check out instructions, you replied with, “Sorry we left a day early i put the towels in a hamper in the laundry and the trash is in the large can in the kitchen. Want quite sure if you wanted it in the large bin.sorry.” We will definitely address these items for the next guest (cutting grass, broken toilet seat and cleaning the porch area.) unfortunately this time of year it’s hard to completely avoid cobwebs outside. Thank you.

Needed cleaning

This could have been a 4/5 star rating, but the house had not been cleaned from the prior guests upon our arrival. We cleaned the bedding, the toilets and showers and ran the vacuum ourselves. Not something you expect to do when renting. Had that been done prior to our arrival, this house would have been just fine. The owner did promise to refund the cleaning fee.
