The bed smelt like cat pee, the floors were sticky . The thermostat was broken. The host was very nice though.

Did the job

We were flying out of Dallas early Saturday morning, so we stayed here Friday night. We mostly chose it since it had a bedroom with a door that we could put our child in, and then we could hang out for the evening. It did that job well. The property was old and surprisingly clean for what it was. Convenient place and nearby fast food.

Not at all as advertised

This place is a lot of things but “Relaxing Hideaway” it is not. This is at best a 2 star hotel that is packaged as a VRBO. My wife and I knew immediately that this place was horrible and contacted the “hosts” immediately to negotiate leaving. These supposed hosts have nothing to do with this property and are not even in the same state. Long story short, we left the hotel and are still fighting to not be charged for the stay. For the past 2 weeks the hosts “have been trying to contact the hotel for more information”

No way

This place was run down but I was willing to stay for the price and location. However, the room had something red on the kitchen floor which I was unsure if it was blood. The flip over lock on the door looked like someone had tried to break in, the screws were half pulled out of the door. The bolt lock worked when I got there but after going to the store and coming back it didn’t. There was an empty beer box in the back of the fridge and then I found a bowl of what looked like sunflower seeds that had been sucked on with a spoon in it in the cupboard. Upon check in the manager (I think) was talking right in front of me to the front desk girl about the guy who stole keys from another guest. After all this I was not comfortable and just left. Would not recommend to anyone.
