Used to be THE best condo in sanibel not anymore

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’m really saddened by the overall lack of caring by the staff. After waking up to a roach on you in the middle of the night that kinda kills it. I was told they would come over and spray and they might have but we still had roaches. Then the massive water leak in the closet that got all of our clothing wet. We could actually see the daylight coming fromThe roof after putting trash cans out. I did go to the office and was told they could t fix it right now but was given some buckets to help. I hope the owners are informed of the water damage this condo has been having but I doubt they will be as the staff just seems rather uncaring. I’m sure everyone is tired from hurricane repaires but large holes that let massive amounts of water in and bugs is not an ok stay.

The entire Moorings staff from management, the front desk, maintenance, housekeeping and grounds keepers have been friendly, professional and helpful in every way. Whatever concerns or problems we might have are always addressed immediately.Come to the Moorings for your vacation in paradise and you won’t be disappointed!

The location was great and was only a quick 4 minute walk to the beach. It also overlooked the canal which was so awesome. We loved it!

Such a great spot--hope to come back!!!

It was sparkling clean when we arrived. Everything was great--we're pretty sure the TV is better than the one we have at home! Top-notch amenities and location. It was just perfect for our family of four (our girls are 6 and almost 2). We had a problem accessing Netflix on the 3rd day--I think some sort of login issue?--but it wasn't that big a deal (I probably could have gone to the very helpful people at the front desk about it, but since we were outside a lot anyway, it didn't seem worth it. We could still access Hulu and other things). Anyway, we will definitely come back, and hopefully to the same condo! We loved it.

Exceeded Expectations

I have never been one to write many reviews but felt I needed to in this case. We picked this condo for a family vacation in August. Having never been to Sanibel we were going blind. After speaking with the staff they helped me decide on this condo in close proximity to the docks. We were a little hesitant about the walk to the beach but upon arrival realized just how close it was. It was a very clean and updated condo and was a perfect size for my family. The boat docks are very new and access was very easy from the room. If you are coming to Sanibel with boat in tow, I can't imagine a better location.
