Ask a questionAbout Juniper Neill
Raised in Alaska...this property was our family homestead. We lived a subsistance lifestyle here...which I didn't fully appreciate until I was grown up! Now I live and work overseas, but Alaska, and this property, will always be our home. I work in international conservation, and growing up in Alaska gave me a real appreciation for protecting our planet's most amazing natural places...this area being one of them!
Juniper Neill purchased this House in 1979
Why Juniper Neill chose Sterling
There is no place like this in the whole world. We love coming home from our work overseas to this special house and tranquil setting. I've worked in conservation in some of the most incredible landscapes in Africa and Asia, and this property, situated near both State and Federal protected lands, rivals any of the world class conservation areas I've visited.
What makes this House unique
We love to BBQ on the large back deck, overlooking the forest and distant mountain range. Nothing but trees for hundreds of miles! What a view! It's a great way to relax and just reconnect with your family in a quiet and peaceful place.
