A Merry Mermaid - 3BR Ocean and Sound View Duplex in North Topsail Beach - Sleeps 12
A Merry Mermaid is a very charming half duplex style home with unobstructed views of the glistening Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway as well. There is a beach access only steps away across the street, and there is a shared waterfront dock and fishing pier to the rear of the home as well. The owner of this home has chosen vibrant interior colors that will immediately put you in the vacation mood while creating a sense of relaxation for your much needed time away.
As you approach this property you will find ample parking in the driveway as well as covered parking underneath the home. The home has a dry weather entry from underneath which makes it very convenient on a rainy day when bringing in your weekly groceries and supplies. Also underneath you will find a shower with hot and cold water, while out in the back yard you will find a Park style charcoal grill. For a fun filled day of crabbing, fishing or kayaking just walk out of the back of the house and down the board walk to the rear of the yard where you will find a fishing pier and waterfront dock (kayaks not provided).
As you enter the home through the dry weather entry it will lead you directly into the kitchen area. The kitchen is very well equipped with high quality cookware as well as Stoneware china and a large selection of glasses and coffee mugs. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove and oven combination, dishwasher, built in microwave, blender, toaster and coffee pot. There is lots of cabinet space and areas for storing your weekly groceries and supplies.
Adjoining the kitchen is an open style living and dining area with outstanding views of the Intracoastal Waterway. The large dining table will seat 8 with 4 others able to sit comfortably at the kitchen bar area. For any overflow there is a large table on the rear deck just off the living area that will seat 6.
The living room as well as the kitchen and dining area have a fabulous view of the Intracoastal Waterway and Bay area to the rear to the home. The living area has a sofa and love seat and is equipped with a large flat screen Smart TV and Blue Ray DVD (cable provided). WiFi is provided throughout the home. The living area provides direct access out to the rear deck through glass slider doors. The rear deck is equipped with very comfortable seating. This is a great spot to enjoy those burning evening sunsets across the Intracoastal Waterway. This deck also provides access down, and out to the waterfront dock and fishing pier area.
On this same floor level and to the front side of the home (Oceanside) there is a large bedroom with two sets of pyramid bunks that will comfortably sleep 6 in this room. This bedroom has direct access out to the Oceanside deck where there is outside seating. This room is equipped with a flat screen TV with Blue Ray DVD (no cable). It is a Smart TV and equipped for gaming console hook-up. This is a great location for the kids to enjoy.
On this same first floor level you will find a full bath with tub and shower combination and a washer/dryer.
As you continue up to the top level you will find 2 bedrooms with Queen beds and a shared bath in between. The bathroom has a tub and shower combination.
The Oceanside bedroom has direct access out to the Oceanside balcony through slider doors. From this balcony you will enjoy great views of the Ocean and comfortable seating for your added enjoyment. This bedroom has a large flat screen TV mounted to the wall and cable and DVD are provided.
The third bedroom has a queen bed and is located on the sound side of the home and it shares a full bath. This bedroom also has a large flat screen Smart TV mounted to the wall with Blue Ray DVD.
All Smart TV’s provide the option for guests to access their own personal Hulu and Netflix accounts for added enjoyment and entertainment.
Ceiling fans are throughout all bedrooms and living room.
No Pets and No Smoking Allowed

This property comes with a free linen package for weekly rentals ONLY, which includes: bed sheets, pillow cases, towels, wash clothes, bath mats, and kitchen towel sets. Any stay less than a week the linens will be a guest charge to be added to the reservation cost.
Check-in will be in person at the Coastline Realty rental office which is located at 965 Old Folkstone Rd. Suite 108 Sneads Ferry, NC 28460. ID’s will be required at check-in and must match the name on the reservation contract. At check-in, guest will be given a CHECK-IN PACKET that will include: WiFi information, keys or key code whichever applies, parking passes, pool passes (if required), any additional house rules if applicable, directions to property, emergency contact information, things to do info sheet, and check-out procedures. PLEASE DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO THE PROPERTY BEFORE CHECK-IN AS IT WILL ONLY DELAY THE PROCESS FOR YOU. IF HOUSEKEEPERS OR INSPECTORS SEE CARS IN THE DRIVEWAY, THEY WILL MOVE ON TO THE NEXT HOUSE AND YOU MAY MISS YOUR EARLY ROTATION WITH CLEANING/INSPECTING.
