Nice Location

Overall stay was good had to call to get my check in code after 4pm to get into property had to have cleaning come back due to a few minor house keeping issues. But the house and location was great we enjoyed our time at the house and had a great time. Any issues we had where promptly taken care of with no questions. Overall a great place to stay!

We love Topsail!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The space was perfect for our family and you can't get much closer to the ocean! The only downfall are all the sandbags right in front, but I knew that already from the other reviews. I liked getting texts and updates from the realty group and reminders about garbage day. I would definitely book through them again!

Our beach vacation

It was adequate and space for the 5 of us. I had an issue in the tub shower. No tread grips on the bottom and had to buy a mat. It was an awkward location rinsing off sand from beach and beach access from the home was only through one bedroom.

Good place for the price.

This was a very reasonably priced property and was good for the price. It was right on the beach, with easy access (note, there are sandbags in front of the house, which was fine, and they were dredging while we were there, which was also not a problem). If you are looking for a spectacular view, a kitchen to cook gourmet dinners, and high end beds, this probably isn't the place, but if you are looking for a simple, clean, easy place, and don't want to spend a lot then this is a good find. A couple of recommendations for the owners: it would be helpful to have a guide to the tv remotes, channels, etc. Also, some new pots and pans would be very welcome (and maybe a new range/oven). Overall a relaxing, pleasant experience.

More than shabby

Upstairs had a kitchen that was well equipped, clean, and all them we needed. The living room area was sparsely appointed in the deck had a picnic table that was unusable because it was old and splintered. The carpet and stairs were filthy. The bedrooms and master bath or terrible looks like it had been furnished by Objects picked off the side of the road sub, Parr blankets and pillows as we used our own sheets. Air conditioning was fine. Loved being oceanfront would not stay here again. We did contact the rental agent upon arriving because of the dead bugs in the master bedroom and she offered to send someone to pick them up, but we said we would do it ourselves .

Great house but

From our initial step into the property most everything was as seen in the pictures! Our major complaint was the AC. We did notice that it was hotter than normal upon moving in, but we are frequent beach goers and know that with the door opening and closing that it takes time. We called the company and someone was sent out immediately. We were told that they would fix it the next day. The temperature reached the 80s. They did rig something up and it lasted maybe 12 hours. They never returned to fix it. With the hurricane coming we did decide to leave early, but most because we couldn’t take the heat anymore and didn’t want to be stuck in a house riding out a hurricane with no AC
