East Shore - Lake View Cottage - Pelee Island

A lovely 3-bedroom cottage is available for rent on Pelee Island's waterfront.

(a) prefilled propane tank - $28.00, 

(b) filled 18L water jug (alternatively guests can bring their own or use empty available jugs to fill at the Island's water station - $8.00, 

(c) pet cleaning fee (type of pet must be pre-approved by host) - $150.00.  Please note that the pet cleaning fee ensures allergen protections for other guests using the cottage.  

Charming family cottage located in a picturesque setting near Lake Erie. Here's a summary of the key features and information:

Scenic Location: The cottage is beautiful, with Lake Erie in the back for sunrises. 

Beach Access: There is a small beach area in the backyard and also a public beach (East Beach) within walking distance from the cottage, making it convenient for beachgoers.  East Beach is the best public beach on the island!

Outdoor Activities: Guests can enjoy various outdoor activities, including hiking on nature trails, mini golf, renting bikes to explore the island, visiting the Pelee Island Winery, and relaxing on the deck.

Accommodation: The cottage provides accommodations for up to 6 people. There are four twin beds and one queen size bed. Linens are not provided, so guests need to bring their own personal towels and sheets/pillowcase.

Amenities: The cottage has a laundry machine washer, clothesline,  full kitchen, sunroom, water side patio, family room, and a BBQ for outdoor cooking. Repellent and sunscreen are available at the cottage.  However, guests are encouraged to bring their own if they have skin sensitives.

Safety: Guests are not permitted to climb on the shoreline rocks at the back of the property, as they can be unstable due to winter ice movement.

Quiet Hours: As it is located in a residential neighborhood, quiet hours are requested after 10 PM.  The cottage is located in a family friendly, quiet location on the island.  

Local Amenities: The area offers various conveniences, including a local co-op for groceries and gas, an LCBO, restaurants, Pelee Art Works, ice cream stands, a taco shack, bike and e-bike rentals, and a winery for a leisurely afternoon.  Check restaurants and the winery for their live entertainment schedule.  There is truly no other place like Pelee Island in Canada. 

This cottage is an ideal place for a family vacation, offering both relaxation and opportunities for outdoor activities in a beautiful natural setting. Guests are encouraged to follow the cottage rules to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
