Beautiful Stay!

Gorgeous house with five beautiful, spacious bedrooms & five lovely bathrooms. Many amenities plus the home is in a very quiet area of Powder Horn Pass with easy access to many scenic venues in the beautiful Black Hills!

Beautiful home, great space for relaxing and spaces to sleep. Also good location for trial riding. Larger garage for side by sides/ parking. Wish there was more space to park vehicles at the property. A few minor issues, but nothing large (poor water pressure, a couple items that were broke, zero flexibility for early arrival which is hard when you travel in).

Four couple stay. Kitchen was well equipped. Large dining table. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Great layout. Laundry room by entrance. Convenient to UTV trails. Communicative host a pleasure to work with.

Another beautifully built cabin, love that there was a few game tables in the basement. The house was stocked well, one thing did come across it didn’t have was measuring cups. Cabin for the most part was spotless, the duvet covers on both main beds had a few stains on them. We would rent the cabin again!

The issues were addressed but took some persistence on my part to get them taken care of. also the place is not stocked well for baking and cooking.

Thanks for your feedback Teresa. I'm saddened to say how incredibly disgusting your group left the property after your departure. Our cleaners spent almost 10 hours in the property getting it cleaned for our next guests from the condition it was left it with food and eggs left all over the floors, linens with stains on them, damages throughout the property, etc. It was one of the worst conditions we've seen all year. We also brought you more cooking utensils ($80 worth of utensils) personally to your door when you requested, even though the house is stocked with a standard set of pots/pans, silverware, etc. We appreciate you staying with us and your feedback, but unfortunately your comments aren't accurate and our future guests need to know that it was thoroughly cleaned and was ready for your arrival, as I personally checked it like I always do to make sure it was ready. It was ok. Disappointing. Patio was nice but the only furniture on patio was 6 high top stools. No table. Pretty bad since you go to the hills to sit outside. High top chairs hard to sit in and enjoy the views for any length of time. Broken handle in en-suite bathroom, kitchen molding fell off under sink. Not enough washcloths for house. Not one blow dryer in house that sleeps 16 people. Super 8 supplies that. No electric mixer or whisk in kitchen. Not enough large serving dishes. Only 1 large bowl. Carpet in stairs filthy needs cleaned. Needs shade in living room. Direct west sun beats into living room area. Sun is blinding sitting in living area at that time. Super disappointing rental. Would not recommend or stay here again based on above problems. Also lighting on stairwell nightlights bulbs need replaced. For the amount of money spent on this unit it should have been pristine.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay here. The furniture is comfortable and the decor is lovely. Beautiful deck and views! We loved the main floor bathroom tile! Unfortunately, the home was not as clean as we would have liked. There was a dirty sock left on a bedroom floor from a previous renter, crumbs on tables and dressers and hair in the main floor showers. Cobwebs everywhere. A picture came crashing down from a wall in a bedroom and knocked over a lamp in the middle of the night. There are no blinds or window coverings on any of the windows which is unfortunate in the bedrooms. That was the biggest negative. That being said, it is a beautiful home and we had a great time with family.

Thanks for your feedback Shelley, great to hear yu guys enjoyed the property. We have looked through the property again and had our cleaners perform a deep clean on the property. We did put some temporary blinds up as well until the permanent ones are installed. Thanks again for staying.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself is awesome and the neighborhood is very cool. There is Starlink internet, TVs everywhere that they should be, and nice furnishings. The house is light on amenities like hangers in the closets, no hoses, and the bare minimum of utensils in the kitchen. There was no sand for the shuffleboard table and the hot tub wasn't ready the day we got there.The biggest downside of our trip was that the house was not as clean as it should have been on our arrival and there are mice in the house. I understand that its a house in the middle of the mountains and mice are common but more steps should have been taken to address the problem before our arrival. Our guests did not enjoy mouse droppings in their purses or luggage. The solution from the management company was to drop off some sticky traps and a dust buster at the front door. The appropriate reaction would have been to send a cleaning crew in as fast as possible and to spread the traps themselves. Having said all of that, its a cool house and if the cleaning and mouse situations get resolved then we would consider staying again. We were there during the Sturgis rally and paid a premium for an experience that did not match the price.

Thanks for your feedback Sean. We checked the hot tub the day of your arrival, and actually put brand new water and chemical in it that morning, so it was ready to go for your arrival. We did also stop after you mentioned you thought there might be mice there. Since you never provided permission to enter the property after several attempts of asking, we did not enter the property and provided you with mouse traps and a vacuum at your request. After your departure we stopped and discovered that you didn't use the traps and vacuum we delivered, so we put them out ourselves. We never did find any mice after putting the traps out. Thanks again for staying and your feedback.
