Fall into a plush KING sized bed or cozy up on the couch and enjoy a complimentary movie on Netflix or Disney Plus+!

This is a 2 bedroom apartment home with an efficiency kitchen and living room. There are stairs up to the unit so please plan for this! Please also note there is no dining room or dining table. Guest may feel free use the living room to lounge and eat.

This space is just steps from all that butler street has to offer! There is a plethora of restaurants, shops, bars and more at your fingertips!

Drive, take the bus, grab an uber or walk! There are so many different ways to get around the city!

Pittsburgh Stay

Love this perfectly sized home for a weekend stay in Pittsburgh. It's in a great location with a small walk to Butler Street in Lawrenceville to enjoy bars and restaurants. Was easy to get to Oakland/Squirrell Hill and the North Shore from this area.

Is anyone home?

This seems to be a recently renovated property, and we liked the wallpaper and cool fixtures. But, communication was lacking completely. We sent several messages to the owner which were never responded to, and still haven’t been, 48 hours after check out. Our messages wire about small things and a broken thing, thank goodness nothing super major. We only got auto-messages about check out, which makes me wonder if this owner is actually a bot. The property was a little strange. The apartment that shares a small internal “patio” (more like a doorstep) was under construction with trash and debris about. The front porch chair was broken anyhow so we could not sit outside comfortably (this is what one of the unreturned messages was about). The bedrooms were comfortable, but clearly suited for winter. In order to let the room air conditioners work, you have to keep the drapes open, meaning a 6 am wake up call when the sun streams in. Finally, the bathroom is hot and not private. Their is a transparent vent at face height, which would make most people very uncomfortable unless very very close.

Never received the physical address, just the street number. Had to ask the host for it as VRBO could not load the listing to see if it had the actual address. Arrived and found the entry instructions confusing. Once we found the “gate” we got in no problem. Problems continued once we stepped in and our feet stuck to the floor. The carpets were heavily soiled. The interior stairs are narrow, steep, and each riser is exceptionally tall. The hand rail for the interior stairs was sticky like the hand rails at a public aquarium. The only light in the bathroom was a floor lamp as the ceiling fixture did not work even though it had three bulbs in it. The fixture insulation appeared burnt and there was no globe on it. We left without even unloading the car. We didn’t ask for a refund and none was offered, just a reply they will address the sticky floor with the cleaning crew.
