Emerald Isle 607 Beachfront Condo | Pool, Gym | My Beach Getaways

That's wonderful! Thank you so much for leaving a review!

Thank you for choosing Beach Getaways and for sharing your feedback. As a fellow short-term rental host, you know how helpful a well-prepared guestbook can be. Ours is designed to be the go-to resource for preparing for your stay, including a detailed list of the starter amenities provided and what guests may wish to bring or purchase after arrival. We intentionally do not leave opened or unsealed food items such as spices, oils, or condiments between guests. While those extras can be convenient, they can also create sanitation concerns, attract pests, and leave guests unsure of what may have been left behind or how long it has been there. We’re glad the beds were clean and comfortable and that the beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards were helpful. We’ll share your additional suggestions with the property care team and follow up with housekeeping regarding the couch and baseboards. We appreciate the thoughtful feedback and hope you enjoyed your time along the coast.

Thanks, Janie for taking time to leave a review. And yes, Emerald Isle takes guest security serious and there are lots of access codes to navigate-we're glad that didn't hamper your girls trip and we can't wait to have you back again soon!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your stay was impacted, and especially sorry to hear about your mother-in-law—that’s never easy news to receive while away from home. We’d like to gently clarify a few points for future guests reading along. Prior to your arrival, we shared notice of the scheduled construction and elevator work at the building. We make every effort to pass along information provided by the HOA so guests have a clear picture of what to expect and can make the best decision for their stay. In addition, the bedding arrangement—including the bunk beds—is outlined in the listing description and shown in the photos. We try to present this as clearly as possible so guests can determine ahead of time if the setup will be a good fit for their group. We do understand that unexpected situations can arise during travel. For that reason, travel insurance is offered at the time of booking through VRBO to help protect your vacation investment in circumstances just like this. We truly aim to provide a comfortable and transparent experience from start to finish, and we appreciate your feedback as part of that process. We hope you’ll consider staying with us again in the future under better circumstances.

Thank you for sharing your feedback — we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, and beach gear! We’ve addressed your housekeeping notes with both our cleaning and property care teams to make sure those details are handled properly moving forward. As for the elevator, we feel your pain — it’s never ideal timing when necessary repairs overlap with guest stays, and we’re sorry that it impacted your visit. We’d love to welcome you back for another relaxing getaway (hopefully with both elevators running full speed next time!).

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for choosing to book with Beach Getaways. We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the resort and that the property itself made for a great stay. We’re sorry there was confusion at arrival regarding the gate and building access codes. This building uses a specialized coding system that creates unique codes for each guest, and those were emailed one week prior to arrival. We apologize if that information was not as clear as it should have been and understand how that could cause frustration at the start of your trip. Regarding the cable contractors entering the unit, we did speak with you during your stay and understood this was related to HOA contractors replacing cable modems. We were not notified by the HOA in advance of that work, and we agree that unexpected entry is unsettling. As discussed, we recommended reporting the concern to onsite security as well. Your personalized digital guestbook, which is provided prior to arrival, includes a detailed list of what is provided in the condo. A starter pack of amenities is included so guests can plan accordingly, whether that means packing preferred items from home or purchasing additional supplies after arrival. We appreciate your feedback and would be happy to welcome you back for another Beach Getaways stay.

We’re so glad you enjoyed the property! Watching dolphins from the bedroom window and relaxing on that balcony really is hard to beat. It’s great to hear you found the pools, beach access, and roomy layout all to your liking. Thanks for pointing out the master bed frame—we’ll be looking into giving it a sturdier upgrade so it matches the rest of the experience. As for the kitchen, it’s stocked with the basics, but we don’t leave perishables like spices behind (we promise we’re not hoarding the cinnamon, just keeping things safe and sanitary). We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back for more Gulf views, dolphin sightings, and a refreshed night’s sleep.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for choosing to book with Beach Getaways. We’re glad to hear that, overall, you were reasonably happy with the condo, though we’re very sorry the arrival process was such a challenge. This resort does have a very specific code process for the various access points, including the parking area, building entry, and condo door. We understand how frustrating that can feel when you’re arriving in cold, windy conditions and trying to sort through multiple codes and entry steps. We’ve reviewed guest feedback regarding the instructions on how to navigate these codes and have since improved the arrival instructions for future guests. We appreciate you sharing the details, as it helps us better understand where additional clarity is needed. We’re sorry the after-hours support did not provide the assistance you needed in that moment. A smooth arrival is an important part of the stay experience, and we understand how stressful it must have been to wait outside while trying to gain access. We also appreciate you letting us know about the condo door being difficult to open so that can be reviewed. We truly hope the arrival experience did not derail your trip too much and that, once you were settled in and had the hang of the resort’s access process, you were able to enjoy the rest of your stay. Thank you again for your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to improve and hope to welcome you back for a smoother Beach Getaways experience in the future.

Thank you for choosing to stay with Beach Getaways and for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry to see a 3-star rating without any details, as we always want to understand where we may have missed the mark. We did not receive any communication from you during your stay, so we hope this rating may have been an oversight. If there were specific concerns, we kindly ask that you reach out to our team directly so we can better understand what went awry and address anything that needs attention. If this rating does not accurately reflect your stay, we would respectfully ask that you consider revising your review. Future guests and the property owner rely on accurate and balanced feedback when making decisions, and we truly appreciate your help in providing that context.
