The river house is located in the Yorktown subdivision on the White River. Front porch river views and private boat launch next door. It’s a very secluded and private, small, gated community just between Mountain View and Batesville. Beautiful views of the river and the mountains. You will love if you like any of these things: lounging, fishing, spending time with loved ones, grilling/chilling outside, birdwatching, reading, sleeping, relaxing, stargazing, watching movies on a soft, comfortable couch, working off site with great wifi and don’t mind rural Arkansas.
30 minute drive to Mountain View and 25 minute drive to Batesville.

Stone County is DRY. The closest liquor store is about 55 minutes away.

Help yourself to a paddle board or two kayaks but bring your own life jackets and fishing poles. Let me know if I can help answer questions.

Family getaway

4th of July visit

This property is beautiful and well appointed. Very comfortable beds, linens and couch. We loved sitting outside and listening to the birds. Truly a magical place and perfect for our visit. Our family is in Batesville so was a little drive but worth it to come back to this river house to relax after a fun day.

Family getaway.

We met our kids and grandkids here for a little 3 day getaway. The place is beautiful very clean. And well supplied with anything you might need. Beautiful deck over looking the river. And Crystal was a great host.

What Perfect Place!

We came to relax, fish and swim. It did not disappoint. The kayaks were a great time for the kids. And the house is amazing. Beautifully designed, fantastic layout and amazing deck! We will be back.

July 4th Getaway

This property was just what we were looking for. The host was very pleasant and even left a little welcome basket. We enjoyed grilling on the patio and swinging in the daybed. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need to feel at home. It was very clean and the decor was lovely. When we are looking for another getaway we will definitely book this property again.

A getaway from the dorm room

This was a perfect hidden gem! The amenities, the location, the property, the river access, the cleanliness, the communication with the host, everything was top notch! Home is beautiful and comfortable! Our college boy enjoyed getting away from campus for a couple of days and loved having a little feel like home get away.

Locust Grove AR Cabin

Wonderful weekend staying in this cabin on the White River! Cozy and just right for 2 couples. Crystal was very responsive! Nice to have plenty of large towels and cloths. Cabin was stocked with anything needed. Would recommend to anyone!

We love the house it is so nice and clean. It’s like a home away from home. The back porch is so comfortable, we could have just stayed there all the time.
