This property was charming and extremely clean. The close location to the town square allowed us to keep our rental car parked all weekend while we walked everywhere we wanted to go on the square.

Great Place to Stay in Covington, GA

We really loved this house. It’s a beautiful and comfortable home really close to the downtown Covington Square. This home is an ideal place to stay in the area. The beds are comfortable and the house has many great amenities. Downtown was a short 7 minute walk to coffee, restaurants, and shops. The owner is awesome and communicates well. She is always available. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Graduation retreat

I came in town to celebrate with my nephew for graduation. We were able to relax inside and outside the house during our down time.The house is beautifully decorated and close to all the great food, shops and ice cream you need.The owner is responsive and helpful.We had no issues during our stay.We hope to visit this quiet retreat again for the next graduation.

Visit to "Mystic Falls"

My daughter and I had a fabulous time in Covington. The rental was perfect for us. We loved the little extras in the house - the candy jar and the snacks were great. It was a perfect location for easy access to the town square - less than five minutes away by car. We would love to come back again!

Great home in Covington

This is such an amazing home! My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. The home is absolutely beautiful and tucked away in the historic district of Covington. The cute snacks and drinks were very helpful. Make sure if you have electronics and you want to plug them in to bring an adapter with multiple outlets that will allow you not to hunt for multiple outlets.

Beautiful home, plenty of space and great accommodations, near town square within walking distance. For guest peace of mind I highly recommend installing an additional door lock from the inside of back door entrance. Window shades for front and rear door.

Went for anniversary trip and just loved the place. It big enough for a family but there was only 2 of us and we loved it. It was too hot to get to enjoy the fire pit but it’s super cute. I really would give this stay all the stars in the sky, because my trip to Covington was made so perfect with this home. Everything was so cute, clean, aesthetic, comfortable, spacious, homey, very well located (less then 5 minute drive from the square), and the host Michelle was so incredibly sweet, helpful, and quick to respond. From the booking process to checking-out, everything was easy and seamless. I took a trip with my family and friends (7 total), and we all agreed this was one of our favorite mini trips we’ve ever taken. Everyone slept so comfortably and the gasp we GUSP as we walked inside was LOUD. I could rave on forever if I could, but I’ll try to keep in brief. If you are looking for the perfect home away from home but it still feels like a vacation, this is your place!

We cannot rave enough at how wonderful our stay at the Magnolia Cottage was. It was our first visit to Covington and it was spectacular. The listing was just as described with more than enough space to accommodate the two of us. The home is beautiful with all of the modern amenities you could possibly need. Conveniently located just a short walk or drive to the heart of Covington, otherwise known as The Square. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and Michelle was an amazing host to work with. She answered all of my questions very promptly and was gracious in allowing us an earlier check-in and later check-out. She offered suggestions for places to visit for cofee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She even suggested reservations at certain places incuding The City Pharmacy, and provided touring options as well. The rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were stocked well with linens and items we may need. The kitchen was stocked with necessities and the little quick breakfast corner was just perfect. Our visit had us in Covington during Halloween and it was a magical experience to say the least. Covington is a beautiful, magical, but bustling place so be prepared to wait to have some patience with traffic and pedestrians. All of which are heavy in the area of the home as it sits in close proximity to the center of town. We LOVED our time at Magnolia Cottage and cannot recommend them enough. We will be back! Go book your stay now. You will love it.
