Mina's Place @ Footprint Farms

Quiet and restful with plenty of history. Short distance to highway exit and the Village. Just about 20 minutes from anywhere in Western New York. Unique home with lots of character and quirky layout. This is a 1919 Sears, Roebuck home with additions put on in the 20's and 30's. We apologize in advance but due to the unique layout and original features of this 1919 home, it might be a challenging rental for families with toddlers.

Great location! Super nice with a balance of new up grades to such a historic home. The half bath came in handy! We were able to utilize the firepit and enjoy the surrounding area! Hosts were fantastic with communication. Love to stay there again in the future.

We love this house and Sara and Jon are excellent hosts - they have thought of everything! Mina’s Place is a piece of history 5 minutes from Hamburg in one direction and the 219 in the other for quick access to other areas. (2 minutes from Hamburg Brewing also!) Immaculately clean, very welcoming. Highly, highly recommend! We so enjoyed meeting you this time around - we’ll see you again!

We’ve stayed at this property many times, it has everything you need to feel right at home! Easy location close to the highway but in a rural setting. The home and property is fantastic and hosts are attentive while giving us privacy. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Mina’s place! The house was so nice and clean and had everything we needed. I loved the character of the house. Jonathan and Sara thought of everything you could need. Thank you for the Twizzlers treat! We traveled to Buffalo and Niagara Falls and went into Canada a few days and took a boat ride on the locks of the Erie Canal. We even visited the Hamburg Farmer’s Market. There are lots of restaurants close by and we tried several. We even participated in trivia night at the Hamburg Brewing Company. I would very highly recommend staying at this beautiful and peaceful place and thank you so much for hosting us!

Stayed her for the weekend with my family. You won’t regret staying in this 1919 craftsman’s style Sears Roebuck home. Has some updates but still holds its original charm. Host responded quickly when we needed them. Will stay here again!

Fabulous!! Close to everything.

Wish I Could Give Six Stars!

We had a wonderful weekend at Mina’s Place. It’s located about 2 minutes outside of the Village of Hamburg, close to all amenities. The house itself is a step back in time, and we studied the Sears, Roebuck blue prints that are hung in the main room. It’s quiet, comfortable, and Jon and Sara have thought of everything you might need! We will definitely stay here again!

What an adorable set up! The outdoor lights brought all of the properties together, the sitting area was relaxing, and the house was perfect. The owners go out of their way to leave things you may need, and the cozy touches were great. ❤️💙

Perfect in Every Way!

We were very excited for this stay and it far exceeded our expectations! The home is spacious yet cozy and clearly decorated in a most thoughtful way. Our hosts were friendly, responsive and welcoming, and ensured every detail of our stay was perfect! This is a wonderful home and an amazing experience. We'll be back! Sara, a retired dental hygienist, is a lifelong resident of Hamburg and I, with a career in finance, moved here from Holland (New York) upon graduating from Canisius College. In 2018, after residing in the Village of Hamburg for over 20 years, we built our current home on Sara’s families property which has been in the family for over 100 years.

Why they chose this property

Hmmm, we are 5 minutes to a really cool brewery, 2 minute walk to a new winery and maybe 7 minutes to the Erie County Fairgrounds where there is always something going on 12 month a year. Good restaurants, quick trips to summer festivals, quiet evenings in the outdoor lounge area...something for everyone is what we say.

What makes this property unique

Cool thing about this house (and the house right next door) they are Sears catalog homes purchased in 1919 and 1921 and shipped to Hamburg via the railroad. Lots of renovations through the years but we have the blue prints for the house next door and it was really amazing how it was engineered and put together.
