Historic Valdez Home

Unwind after a day of exploring the last frontier in our newly renovated historical home. Enjoy the historical charm of this original built 1911 home that was moved post 1964 earthquake to its current location in the new Valdez townsite. The house has been completely refurbished to include modern amenities with historic accents throughout the home.

This 2 story unit A is above another private unit.

****Summer 2026-Lot next door may undergo house construction. Possible construction noise may or may not take place during your stay. This will occur during the day but can be controlled if it's a concern for you. For more information, please send us an inquiry.

This place was absolutely amazing! Cozy, charming, and full of historic character, it has been beautifully renovated while still preserving its unique charm. The photos are lovely, but the home is even more beautiful in person—which is something you don't often find! It was comfortable, welcoming, and the perfect place to stay while exploring Valdez. The host was easy to communicate with, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. If you're looking for a memorable stay in Valdez, this is it!

I've stayed at this property many times over the years, and that alone probably says everything. Every visit has been consistently excellent. The home is comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The location is fantastic, and walking distance to downtown Valdez.What keeps bringing me back, though, is the reliability. The property is exactly as described, communication is always easy, and everything is ready when I arrive. In a world where consistency can be hard to find, this place delivers every time.

Incredible Home in Perfect Location

I needed a place to stay that was cozy and comfortable, and I know to be a consistently amazing property. This was my third time staying at this home and it was perfect. Again! Clean, great amenities, easy walk to town, quiet.

Great stay

This historical house made a great home for our trip to Valdez. It is close enough to walk everywhere and far enough away to get rest from the bustle. Bring your own food prep items. The place is very clean and the pantry is very limited.

Outstanding Property

The remodeled historic home was cozy, all the amenities you need, and within walking distance to Valdez harbor…an ideal setting surrounded by mountains and ocean. The property owners were responsive, friendly and worked with us to extend our stay when our travel plans unexpectedly changed. One of the best rentals we have ever stayed.
