The room was clean and orderly, the cats were sweet and cute. Stayed for 2 months January-February 2026. Brownstone did have plumbing issues one weekend but it was resolved quickly and it was chill.

Very comfortable and cozy! And very convenient to the Halsey St subway station to get to and from Manhattan; just remember you’ll need the J-Train lol! I could not find it anywhere in the listing or reviews prior to booking/staying, but there IS free on-street parking Friday through Monday. Patricia was very helpful and available, but also very respectful of our privacy. I would definitely recommend booking; we definitely will be booking with her again the next time we visit NYC!

Our hosts were very kind and amenable to our needs! The room itself and bathroom were clean, but the towels were just a bit smelly and needed refreshing. The beds were comfortable. The location was great in terms of being near the subway and across the street from a great eatery, House Party. Not everyone will be comfortable with sharing a rental with the owners of that space, so being transparent about that beforehand would be beneficial.

Patricia is a super host, who arranged a seamless check-in and provided us with plenty of recommendations for places to eat in Bushwick. Couldn't recommend more highly.

I had a wonderful time staying with Patricia ! The room is very private, and I felt very comfortable using the kitchen and spending time in the backyard. Patricia was helpful and friendly, and I always felt like I had my own space to enjoy my stay. The entire place was clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed the books Patricia left in the room to read and the cats are super sweet too. I would love to stay again!

Perfect home-base for Brooklyn trip

This was a wonderful place to stay for our week in Brooklyn. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and comfortable. Patricia and her husband are very kind and clear communicators. We loved their cats too, especially since we missed ours! We spent most of our time out and about, and this was a perfect place to come back to and rest. We would definitely stay here again.

Pat and her husband were very hospitable and we felt welcomed in the common areas. She also reached out a few weeks before our stay to ask what we would be interested in doing and got back to me with great options. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Her place is very close to great restaurants, shops and bars. Her cats were very sweet too. Highly recommend this place!
