Welcome to Little Lake Louise – Your Private Park Getaway

Tucked away in the rolling hills of southern Iowa, just 45 minutes from Des Moines, Little Lake Louise is a private, cozy log cabin retreat with all the comforts of home. Whether you're looking to unplug or play, this hidden gem offers it all; a private pond for fishing and floating, scenic trails for wandering, a screened-in gazebo, a lookout tower with panoramic views, and two decks for soaking in the quiet.

The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom, heating and A/C, and cozy sleeping arrangements for up to four guests. Unwind by the fireplace in winter or enjoy a summer barbecue on the deck. It's like having your own private park; complete with modern amenities.

The cabin is located about 1/4 mile beyond the main house on a private section of our property. While we live onsite, your space is fully private. We’re close enough if you need us, but you’ll have all the peace and privacy you'd expect.

This was more than we even expected it to be. This is clearly a labor of love by the owners. There were walking trails and surprises around ever corner. Look out points, nature, and adventures. The cabin was so clean and homey. We will definitely be back. Definitely a hidden gem and one of the best and most relaxing stays we’ve had!

Beautiful relaxing cabin! The views are stunning. Very well stocked kitchen and comfortable living areas. Our host was exceptional making sure we had everything we needed. Our favorite spot was on the deck overlooking the pond. We look forward to returning to this cabin and exploring the area more soon. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!
