The beds were unusually hard, it was difficult to get a good nights sleep. The location is absolutely excellent, it is very near to a lot of great restaurants and the metro system. Due to the location I would definitely recommend staying there. The host was great, she let us in early to drop our stuff off.
Perfect place to stay with our young family. Walkable neighborhood with great coffee shops and parks with playgrounds. We easily walked to a grocery store and a metro station to get to the Smithsonian district and Mall. The hosts let us know about the Eastern Market and I am SO glad they did - what a gem! The parking pass sealed the deal for us; and even though we didn't get our rental car until late, they were still able to get the pass to us the next day. The patio was such a delight to hang out on after the kids went down. Truly a great spot and would definitely stay again!
We have traveled to DC fairly often over the past several years to visit our daughter and usually stay in a hotel or with her. Since there were four of us traveling this time, I decided to find a house/apartment and came upon this apartment. It was just what we needed for the extended weekend. The two bedrooms and one bathroom was good for us. The apartment was very clean/comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. The Capitol Hill location is great with Lincoln Park a few blocks away. We will consider staying here again when we need to book a place.
This place was very convenient, because it was close to my Daughter's house. The one bedroom is smaller then the other but that worked for the three of us. There is a coffee pot on the shelve kind of in the kitchen. It is like a one cup Keurig coffee maker. They have some coffee for you, but you may want to bring your own coffee. There is a Safeway about 2/3 miles away. There you can get anything you need. They have a small supply of coffee for you in the kitchen and "I Forgot Something" for you in the bathroom. They have nice bathroom towels and linens. There are four pillows on the bed and a nice warm comforter. That was important, because we were there at Christmas. It is a typical DC apartment for the area and they have fixed it it up nicely. Would I rent the place again? "Yes."
