Deep in the heart of Tuscany this manor from the 18th century is in one of the most beautiful areas in Tuscany. It was redeveloped entirely however has retained the typical Tuscan architecture. On a property of 44.000 square metres fenced in property, there is a small lake (which is fed by a spring from Monte Amiata), a tennis court, a pool with a big sunbathing area, a boccia court . The big country house was divided into individual apartments on two floors. The house has retained its Tuscan atmosphere and the good utilities. The arrangement is 2 kilometres from Castel del Piano, where the historic centre provides all shops for all daily needs, restaurants, bars, etc. Pienza can be reached in 25 minutes,-Montepulciano, Montecatini in 35 minutes, Siena, the Parco dell'Uccellina in 45 minutes and the sea in an hour by car.

Description of the rural house: The rural house is redeveloped and retained the typical Tuscan architecture with timber beam at the ceiling and parts of the original stonewall in the living-room and bedroom. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (renovated 2024) and a big living-room with a fire-place an a fully eqipped kitchen. It is very comfortable within a heating in all rooms and of course air-condition which guarantee a pleasant climate. There is a large terrace at the first floor and also at the ground floor to have a nice breakfast or dinner outside. The Rustico guarantees the maximum of privacy but also all the benefits of a residence with a large pool including child zone, sports ground (tennis, boccia court, and grill area) which are enclosed and completely fenced. The entrance to the property is through an automatic gate that guarantees the maximum of security.

Fantastic relaxing break

We arrived to a very warm welcome from Alberto and throughout our stay he was around to answer any queries. We had great days lazing by the pool, playing tennis and walking up the hill to Castel del Piano for dinner. Would recommend this place for anyone who wants to switch off and absorb the culture of a beautiful area of Tuscany.

Beautiful home in shady Tuscan setting

Comfortable and well maintained home with beautiful kitchen and well stocked kitchen in a shaded mountain setting in Tuscany. My wife and her 8 year old daughter loved being in the wilderness and having the big communal pool where we were able to make friends with another family. My wife loves to cook and big grocery stores and an artisanal produce shop were minutes away by car. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the tools of the trade. We had the desire to make day trips to small towns and wineries and were really pleased to be in such a beautiful and less populated region of Tuscany. The views were spectacular. I would recommend this home for families hoping to combine short day trips with afternoons by the pool, as well as anyone interested in exploring the Maremma. We ate at a few really wonderful local restaurants which were recommended, and found the whole process to be very easy due to the location of the villa. Another reason we chose the villa was due to the shade, which kept the Tuscan heat from becoming too overwhelming. I’ve travelled through Italy during 40 degree heat waves, so knowing the home is both air conditioned and in the shade of trees was a real plus. A car is vital for this area but parking is easy thanks to the lack of tourism in these particular towns. We had driven down from Florence, which was already chock full of people, so this home was a wonderful respite. Could have spent two weeks or more here!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus war sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Trotz der heißen Außentemperaturen war es immer angenehm kühl. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die einzigen kleinen Kritikpunkte wären, dass das Wasser in dem wunderschönen Pool sehr kalt war und wir trotz unseres 14-tägigen Aufenthalts nur eine Ausstattung an Handtüchern erhalten haben.

War ein sehr schönes Haus , Super toll eingericht und sehr geschmackvoll, hat an nichts gefehlt. Das einzige was mich gestört hat waren die Öffnungszeiten des Pools der öffnete erst um 9Uhr , ich aber im Urlaub aber schon um 7 Uhr schwimmen gehe ist das für mich nicht akzeptabel. Sonst war alles in Ordnung.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen!

Wir haben uns in diesem Ferienhaus wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Liebe zum Detail in der Einrichtung war spürbar und hat uns den Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Nicht nur das Haus, sondern auch die gesamte Atmosphäre hat uns begeistert. Der Pool war bei den heißen Tagen ein echtes Highlight. Wir werden diese erholsame Zeit in der Toskana sicher nicht vergessen und kommen sehr gern wieder.

Sehr schönes Rustico ruhig gelegen

Wir (4 Erwachsene) hatten einen tollen 14 tägigen Aufenthalt in dem wunderschönen Haus der Familie Bock.Das Rustico ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Es fehlt an nichts. Im Sommer, wenn das Wetter heiß ist, ist der wirklich nahegelegene Pool mit den Sonneliegen und Schirmen ein Traum. Aber auch jetzt bei 20 - 22 Grad, konnte man den Aufenthalt zuhause genießen. 2 gut möblierte Terassen luden zum Chillen ein. Wir waren viel unterwegs und haben viele schöne Orte und auch das Meer mit tollen Stränden besucht. Allerdings muß man mit längeren Anfahrtswegen rechnen, da Castel del Piano etwas abgelegen liegt. Aber das wussten wir vorher schon. Lieber Helge, liebe Evelyn, nochmals danke für einen traumhaft schönen Urlaub.

una vacanza rilassante

la nostra vacanza in Toscana è stata piacevole e molto rilassante, la struttura è immersa nella natura, e con la possibilità di visitare dei borghi artistici nei dintorni e la piscina condominiale a disposizione. La casa è bella e dotata di ogni confort. La distanza dal paese e la necessità di spostarsi in macchina può essere un vantaggio, se si ama la natura, o uno svantaggio, se si hanno figli adolescenti desiderosi di socializzare con i coetanei. ..dipende dalla situazione...comunque posto incantevole.

Ein schöner Urlaub in der Toskana

Dank der guten Beschreibung haben wir das Rustico schnell gefunden, nur die schmale Zufahrtsstraße war in einem ziemlich schlechten Zustand, mit vielen Schlaglöchern. Die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich und wir bedanken uns für den leckeren Wein, der im Wohnzimmer für uns bereitstand. Das Rustico ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, hochwertig eingerichtet, vor allem die Küche ist sehr modern, es fehlte nichts. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die große Ferienanlage ist sehr schön, ordentlich und gepflegt. Der kleine See ist idyllisch, man hört die Tiere, das Schnattern der Gänse, das Quaken der Frösche und trotzdem empfindet man Ruhe und kann entspannen. Wir haben es genossen. Da unser Reisezeitraum etwas zu zeitig war, konnten wir den tollen Pool nur am letzten Tag nutzen. Wir haben wunderschöne Ausflüge in die Toskana unternommen. Durch die abgeschiedene Lage war dies zwar mit langen kurvigen Autofahrten verbunden, das wussten wir jedoch, denn es war nicht unsere erste Reise in die Toskana. Unsere Ziele waren u. a. Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Castiglione del Lago am Trasimenischen See, Montepulciano, Capodimonte am Lago di Bolsena, Porto Santo Stefano und viele andere Orte. Man sollte sich aber auch unbedingt die malerischen kleinen Orte auf den Hügeln rings um Castel del Piano anschauen, man hat einen tollen Blick über die Weiten der wunderschönen Toskana. Wir haben einen herrlichen Urlaub in der Toskana verbracht.

Toller Urlaub

Wir haben uns im Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat alles gepasst und es war ein großartiger, ca. 3- wöchiger Urlaub. Alberto, der "Mann vor Ort" ist engagiert und herzlich; gibt auch tolle Tipps für Einkäufe und Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Der Gemeinschaftspool war groß und immer sauber. Es gab genug Liegen und Sonnenschirme. Zudem konnte man auf dem Tennisplatz der Anlage auch Fussball und Basketball spielen. Der Weg zum eigentlichen Dorf dauert durch den Wald fußläufig ca. 20 - 25 Minuten (teilweise ziemlich steil, aber auch mit Großeltern und einem 10jährigen gut machbar). Der Ort an sich bot alles was man braucht (mehrere Lebensmittelläden, Bars, Restaurants etc). Vom Haus aus dauert es z.B. ca. 1 Stunde zum Meer (Marina di Grosseto), 2 1/2 Stunden nach Rom, 1 Stunde nach Siena ... Und nach den langen Ausflügen konnte man dann auch mal deutsche Fernsehprogramme auf der Couch gucken ;)

Wunderschönes Haus

Das Haus ist traumhaft gelegen und wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Auch an Kleinigkeiten wurde gedacht. Sowohl die Vermieter als auch der Hausmeister Alberto sind sehr nett und auch für Sonderwünsche zu haben. Den Kamin haben wir in dieser doch schon recht frischen Jahreszeit sehr genossen. Es gab keine richtigen Bettdecken, Frostbeulen sollten sich also etwas mitbringen. Zusammen mit Wolldecken ging es aber auch so. Unsere Top-Ausflugsziele hier waren: Castiglione della Pescaia, Montepulciano und die heißen Quellen von Saturnia. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt und alles Gute!

Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Wir haben zwei tolle und erholsame Wochen in Terre Gialle verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr schön, groß und komfortabel. Die Küche ist ebenfalls sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Familie Bock und Alberto, der Hausmeister der Residenz, sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ursprünglich und gleichzeitig komfortabel

Das Rustico hat unsere Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen, wir waren sehr begeistert. Vor allem auch die Ausstattung in der Küche war hervorragend. Die Lage direkt am See ist wunderschön, und man hat drei verschiedene Terrassen. Leider konnten wir Pool und Tennisplatz coronabedingt nicht nutzen, was bei 34 Grad natürlich nicht optimal war. Wir kommen aber auf jeden Fall wieder und werden dies dann nachholen.

A Dream Come True

When I planned the Tuscany portion of our family trip, I envisioned a stay in the picturesque countryside near small tuscan villages where the tour busses don't stream in. I wanted my family to immerse themselves in the Tuscan lifestyle, mingle with the local people and gain an appreciation for the traditions and values that the Tuscan people hold so dear. Our traditional Tuscan home was spacious for our family of five , well stocked with the comforts of home to enjoy for a week's stay, and absolutely lovely. The property is located less than two miles from a historical village on the way to Mt Amiata with loads of charm and character. It's also well located to travel easily to other historical places for day trips. The scenery in southern Tuscany is absolutely spectacular: an impressive mountain presence, scenic valleys, vast fields of vineyards, orchards, and farmland. It's an incredible ride for cyclists and hiking experience as well. The landscape is even more striking than where I stayed in the Chianti region on Tuscany the last time I visited Tuscany. Our dream transformed into reality during our one week stay. Many thanks to our hosts, Alberto and the Tuscan people for their hospitality during our stay.

Schmuckes Rustico, leider im Schlafbereich sehr dunkel.

Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, verfügt über alle wünschenswerten Einrichtungsgegenstände. Wofür niemand etwas konnte: Es war schon bei unserer Ankunft kalt und es regnete; und das Wetter hielt sich leider. Da fiel es leider mehr ins Gewicht, dass die Schlafräume sehr dunkel sind, - was bei Hitze sicher zu begrüssen ist. War halt Pech. Der Concierge war ausserordentlich nett, gab uns viele Ausflugstipps.

Einzigartige Lage

Als Italien-Fan fand ich den Urlaub wunderbar: Traumhafte Landschaft, toll zum Wandern und Fahrradfahren (am besten mit e-bike). Der Ort liegt abgeschieden im bergischen Teil der Toskana, daher kein Massentourismus. Wenig Deutsche. Die Orte sind sehr gepflegt und besitzen sehr viel italienischen Charme. Überall Ape's, Vespa's und Panda's. Wir hatten schnell ein Lieblingsrestaurant gefunden (Locanda direkt am Marktplatz in Castel del Piano), welches fast jeden Abend ausgebucht war. Die Ferienanlage befindet sich in einem sehr guten, gepflegten Zustand. Hervorragender Outdoor-Tennisplatz. Der Hausverwalter ist engagiert und hilft sofort. Das Ferienhaus ist hochwertig eingerichtet und ebenso in hervorragendem Zustand. Insbesondere das große Ess- / Wohnzimmer ist sehr behaglich. Warum also keine 5 Sterne? Meine Frau und die Kinder hätten gerne mehr Ausflüge in die weitere Toskana unternommen. Durch die abgeschiedene Lage ist dies mit langen kurvigen Autofahrten verbunden.

Sensationell!!

Ein wirklich schöner und authentischer Platz inmitten der Toskana. Toll als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Das Haus ist super gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wenn Sie Ruhe und Entspannung suchen, sind Sie hier genau richtig! Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und nichts vermisst! Abends auf einer der Terrassen sitzen, bei gutem Rotwein, leckerer Salami und frischem Parmesan-was will man mehr! Einfach nur schön! Wir kommen gern wieder

So ein schönes Fleckchen Erde! Die familiäre Anlage ist super ordentlich. Das Haus ist der Wahnsinn! Es ist einfach alles da! Spiele , Bücher , eine großartige Küche, es war wie nach Hause kommen! Super Rustico

Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen in diesem tollen Rustico verbracht. Das Haus war sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Die Lage ist schön ruhig, aber man braucht mit dem Auto nur 5 min zum einkaufen. Auch viele Sehenswürdigkeiten(z.B. Siena oder Saturnia) und das Meer sind in einer Stunde zu erreichen. Der Pool ist schön groß und auch sehr gepflegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
