We love this location and all the convenience with peace and quiet included. The host is wonderful, accommodating and so easy to communicate with! The home had everything we needed and more. Thanks for another great stay, we are already thinking of our next trip!

Short, sweet, and charming getaway

The property was very neat and clean and walking distance to the beach. It’s very close to Thomas donuts which is a must have in PCB. We very much enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly and professional. Will stay again.

What was to be a relaxing stay for my family turned into a nightmare with water leaking into the house through the wall and ruining several of my familys things and the homeowner acting like he didnt care the pictures of the property are not how the property looks yard is unkept trash all around the back of the house old paint buckets on the side of the house exposed eletrical wires by far the worst property i have stayed at while using vrbo and on day 2 the home owner was informed of problem and did nothing and refused to refund

Response from Owner: Erick, I’m sorry your stay three weeks ago had rainy weather. The water in the laundry room occurred because the door was left open during heavy rain. VRBO confirmed this was not a property issue, so no refund was given. I always aim to provide a clean and comfortable space for all guests.

Perfect location

Manu was an excellent host and communicated as needed and quickly replied . We were accommodated at every turn. The location was perfect. 2 minutes to the public beach access. 8 minute walk leisure walk from door to ocean. The outside of the home offered plenty of parking and we loved the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the Florida atmosphere. The neighbors were very friendly and we felt safe at all times. The location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood, quick walk to Thomas’ doughnuts and the beach. The home was well supplied, clean, and exactly what we expected from the listing. We will definitely be back!

Nice little house and walk to the beach

Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and the property is located in a pleasant neighborhood with friendly residents. We especially appreciated the short walk to the beach and the nearby pizza place, which was a great convenience. However, we did experience a few challenges during our stay. The air conditioning stopped working and the interior became uncomfortably hot rather quickly. It took about 20 minutes to receive a response from the owner, and we feel a direct contact number should be provided for urgent matters instead of relying solely on VRBO messaging. Maintenance arrived approximately 45 minutes later and informed us the unit needed Freon. Although the air wasn't very cold, setting it to 72 degrees made it tolerable. Unfortunately, the stove was non-functional despite our attempts to reset it. As a result, we had to purchase an air fryer and relied on the outdoor grill for cooking. There was also a persistent septic odor throughout the home, particularly in the master bathroom. Additionally, the laundry room became extremely hot when running the washer and dryer, so we could only do laundry at night to maintain a comfortable temperature in the house. A few minor inconveniences included the absence of a dustpan, no information about trash pickup, and the resulting trash buildup. Despite these issues, we were generally pleased with our stay and appreciate the opportunity to visit. Thank you.

Thank you, Sasha, for your feedback and for staying with us. We're glad you enjoyed the location and the walk to the beach! We wanted to address a few points for clarity and future guests: During periods of extreme heat and humidity in Panama City Beach—especially when the heat index reaches 104°F—setting the A/C below 72°F can cause the unit to freeze up both inside and outside. We’ve added a window unit in the master bedroom to help keep it comfortable during these hotter days. The stove is a newer model, and while it automatically shuts off for safety, it does sometimes require a reset to turn back on. Regarding the trash: the dumpster is located right in front of the house, at the edge of the parking lot. We’ll make that clearer in future guest messages. We sincerely apologize for the septic issue. Unfortunately, improper disposal of items like tampons caused a major blockage. It took the plumber over 4 hours to resolve it. We’re taking steps to prevent this from happening again. We truly appreciate your comments and suggestions—they help us continue to improve the home both inside and out. Thank you again for staying with us!
